Thinking Of Tomorrow As It Is Not All About Today

Over the last few weeks we have seen the Steem price climb rapidly and drop rapidly which is normal in the Crypto world. The same thing happened on Steem Engine though which would be obvious as the Tribe tokens are backed by Steem.

I monitored my Steem Engine token value over this period and noticed an increase of more than 60 percent over the two week period. This is the Dollar value going from $250 to over $400 for various Tribe tokens that some we don't even really value. Not bad for something most users look at as just worthless and sell them for a quick buck.

This is where I lose the plot as to why more users aren't staking for when the times are going to be that much harder to earn. If you look at most tribes there is sell orders outstripping the buy orders by at least 5 to 1. It seems everyone is all about today and not about tomorrow. If everyone staked imagine where the price would go.

I am heavily staked in Sports to the tune of around 20 Million which isn't much if you had to purchase it in Steem today. It will cost you around 2000 Steem from where it was this is a bargain as it was 10 x that around 12 weeks ago.

The token will bounce back though as they have a cycle and when new users appear at some point they will need tokens to start up in whatever tribe they join.The price doesn't bother me right now as when there is a low price the best thing to do is to keep staking. By staking you are pushing the vote values down and increasing your own which in the end benefits the users who have staked.

I just find it strange that users are prepared to sell at whatever price the token is and that kind of galls me a bit. I say that as it is obviously too easy to earn right now and make easy Steem.I am guessing that these users are fairly new and have no idea what is going to happen when the next bull market hits this place.

More users equate to less post rewards as the reward pool is now under attack from double or triple the accounts that we have here currently. If you haven't staked you are dead in the water and no one will listen to your sob stories that no one loves you. The time for growing is now and has been for the last 18 months or so.

I see Steem as the token we are more worried about than any other and rightly so but don't neglect the tokens as it gives you a double whammy on your posts.A worthless token like what sports currently is still has value when Steem comes back to life and those that sold for nothing will regret what they have done.

Just remember if you can earn 100 000 sports per day when Steem is back at $4 that is $1200 per month from a Tribe token that is regarded as low value.This is extra besides whatever your post is making with Steem and any other tribes. This is why I am staking and will continue to stake whatever I can get my grubby paws on as there is a much bigger picture when this all plays out.

I totally agree with you, many people only sell, regardless of the price of the currency, partly to us who invest in the currency, it benefits us, since we can buy more coins with less money, in the long run we will win.

It is best to invest now, I think it is the best time to invest, STEEM in the coming months, it may be worth twice what it is worth right now, and in the best cases, it will reach 1 USD for each STEEM, imagine how much money would be won in a tribe with the value of STEEM at 1 USD, it would be a lot.

I just made a small order of 859K of SPORTS, I will continue shopping in the next few days ...
