STEEM CRYPTO CHALLENGE : Bitcoin Is Booming

This is my entry to the ongoing crypto writing challenge here [STEEM CRYPTO CHALLENGE : Bitcoin Is Booming - What About Your Favorite Coin?](https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steem-crypto-challenge-bitcoin-is-booming-what-about-your-favorite-coin)
If I have all the money in the world I would buy bitcoin as a store of value. I will wait for it to go to a low price before buying and not buying them when people start to get excited when the price keeps climbing up.

Currently, bitcoin is doing great and its performance is just like at the end of the year 2017. Just like humans and the tide have it's high and low, bitcoin does too.. I hope people know when best to enter the market and when to sell if needed.

I plan to hold some of this bitcoin as I feel that the price will keep holding strong as time goes by. When the tide is low I will go on a shopping spree and when the tide is high and so much hype I will sell some to those who are in the mode of fear of missing out(FOMO).

I would love to hold other cryptocurrencies that have a strong community and real projects and a lot of working products behind it. This is because the community believes in this blockchain and project and has a sense of belonging and responsibility to make the blockchain project thrive.

What other cryptos would you like to buy and hold for the long term?
Tronix/TRX is a great crypto for moving our money because of the fast transaction and high liquidity. I would hold some of this token and other tokens in its ecosystem that currently have working products.

BTT token from Bittorent also a great token to hold as they are undervalued now, once people start to store their data on Bittorent ecosystem/BTFS, this token will appreciate in value.

The next coin I want to hold is Rune from Thorchain as this project has great potential to thrive, they claimed to bridge any token transfer between any blockchain without wrapping the native token. We can earn some Rune by staking too, so this is great features for this blockchain.

and they will soon to have censorship-resistant decentralized exchange: ASGARDEX

Next coin I want to hold is BNB from Binance exchange, as this exchange expands to a lot of other utilities and working products.

Last but not least I might want to hold EOS token too as they have an active community and the creator of this token created Steem token in the past so I think EOS should have a lot of potential moving forward.

That is all about the cryptocurrencies that I currently hold and want to hold if I have all the money in the world.

Exactly, the Smart money buys the low and sells the high, the uneducated money grappled with noise enters nervously and ends up in either in floating loss or in the realized loss. 

> This is because the community believes in this blockchain and project and has a sense of belonging and responsibility to make the blockchain project thrive.

The first decade of the crypto mainly focused on the technical parameters. While that will remain intact, in this decade together with that, fundamentally investors will look into the community strength of the crypto projects. 

BNB is an outperformer. And it will continue to grow stronger in my assessment.

Yea I agree about BNB too, the founder is so charismatic and humble he knows how to deal with human emotional being, and the community is great too, they are the most less toxic community in the crypto sphere I think.

Hi @cryptokannon
I always like your posts. I also like Bitcoin as store of value. I look at Ethereum and wonder what might have been, had the Bitcoin community embraced the ideas of that token doing more. But perhaps it's fate and for the better, that Bitcoin performs only one function, as transaction costs for doing centralized finance on Bitcoin would be far higher and slower then on Ethereum. But who knows, we could see innovations on Bitcoin like we see on Ethereum 2.0 to make it faster and cheaper transactions. 

I also like Tron for it's speed and inexpensive transactions, and Bitorrent for it's potential. I have researched Rune coin also recently and it has great promise. You may also be interested in Blocknet.io and their coin Block with similar atomic swap capability as Thorchain.

Bitcoin has been and will always be the mother of cryptocurrency.
Though we have other competing currencies. So we watch out and see what bitcoin will become in a decade from today. 
I still love bitcoin and I will always invest because it is worth investing in.
