Another exciting week of Crypto Academy Season 2 has started and I was pleased to see our Crypto Professor @yohan2on giving a great lecture that will actually help all the crypto investors and traders to make a balanced portfolio and make some profits. 

**Steemit Crypto Academy Professor** @yohan2on has explained in-depth about designing a cryptocurrency investment portfolio and  I was able to understand the following thing from this lecture;

**Home Work Task**
At the end of the lecture, students were assigned a homework task by Professor @yohan2on to design a cryptocurrency investment portfolio.

Using an initial investment of $50, practically design your own cryptocurrency investment portfolio.

* Your Crypto portfolio should have 6 Cryptocurrencies and briefly explain why you have chosen to invest in each one of them.
* Use a Crypto wallet of your choice to hold your 6 cryptocurrencies.
* Wait for a day or 2days, then showcase the final results of your investment portfolio.
* Use proper screenshots to showcase before and after. Is your total crypto portfolio in profits or losses? Which cryptocurrencies have increased in value and made you some profits? And which ones have declined in price value and made you some losses? Or have all of them made you profits? What’s the growth percentage of your Crypto trading portfolio after the 1 or 2days waiting period?

**My Cryptocurrency Investment Portfolio Overview**

As described by our Professor that we should be making an investment portfolio of 6 cryptocurrencies, I have decided to invest in the following cryptocurrencies by buying each with $40 making a total portfolio of $240 for this task. I have used Binance exchange wallets to buy and hold my investment portfolio.

**Reason for Picking these Cryptocurrencies**

Now, I will briefly explain one by one why I have picked these cryptocurrencies to be part of my investment portfolio.

**Ripple (XRP)**
I have selected ripple due to 2 reasons. First, it is one of the major cryptocurrencies ranked 4th in market cap and has a solid project. Second, I am a trader who mainly trades based on technical analysis and ripple dropped 55% from the recent peak and it is at a great place to buy before it makes a breakout.

**Litecoin (LTC)**
This is my 2nd major coin of the portfolio because of a solid project a good market cap. Technically, litecoin has gone very close to ATH and has dropped 35% from the recent peak, providing a great buying opportunity.

**Steem**
I had to add steem to my investment portfolio because it will be used as a passive income coin due to steemit platform that is booming and the price of steem is likely to increase multiple times in coming months. Technically, steem has dropped 50% from the recent peak and it was a great discount to buy this dip. I have bought a bit late for this task because steem price was already recovering but overall, I have bought the dip at 0.00001200.

**Tron (TRX)**
The recent integration of Tron with steem has made up my mind to add this to my investment portfolio. It is still very cheap and has a good chance of reaching at least $0.50 in near future. Technically, Tron has dropped 50% from the recent peak and it was a great discount to buy this dip.

**Binance (BNB)**
I have added Binance Coin in my portfolio to be used for multipurpose. It can be used for buying other coins if needed because BNB markets have most of the coins. At the same time, BNB has shown great continuous growth and it has the utility value involved, so it is more likely to increase in value in the coming time. I can also cash out for emergency needs at any time as it has very less transaction fees.

**Holo (HOT)**
This coin got my attention due to massive hype on Twitter and it is super cheap at the moment, so it can be my next 10X coin. Technically, Holo has dropped 70% from the recent peak and it is breaking out of that descending triangle and a breakout is happening anytime soon.

**Results of My Cryptocurrency Investment Portfolio**

I have used Binance Exchange wallet to buy these cryptocurrencies in early morning of 26 April. I have used 40USDT on each coin and held them for more than 24 hours. I have taken screenshots on time of buying and after 24 hours to make the results section of my homework post. Let me show you the results of each cryptocurrency.

**Ripple (XRP) - Gain +28%**
I bought 35.57 QTY of Ripple for 40$ at a price of 1.1243. After holding, the price of Ripple is 1.4446 at the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **28%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$51.2**

**Litecoin (LTC)- Gain +6.8%**
I bought 0.1681 QTY of Litecoin for 40$ at a price of 237.86. After holding, the price of Litecoin is 254.27 at the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **6.8%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$42.72**

**Steem - Gain +8.9%**
I bought 47 QTY of Steem for 40$ at a price of 0.00001593 btc. After holding, the price of Steem is 0.00001735 btc at the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **8.9%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$43.56**

**Tron (TRX)- Gain +12%**
I bought 364.5 QTY of Tron for 40$ at a price of 0.10972. After holding, the price of Tron is 0.12328 the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **12%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$44.80**

**Binance (BNB)- Gain +2.5%**
I bought 0.0753 QTY of BNB for 40$ at a price of 531. After holding, the price of BNB is 544.30 at the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **2.5%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$41**

**Holo (HOT)- Gain +20%**
I bought 3014 QTY of Holo for 40$ at a price of 0.013271. After holding, the price of Holo is 0.01602 at the time of taking the screenshot. There is a gain of **20%** in value and if I sell at that price the USD value would be **$48**

**Portfolio Results at a glance**
If you want to see my investment portfolio results at a glance, you can see the below table that is showing the Percentage gain in each cryptocurrency. The maximum gain was observed in Ripple that is +28% while the minimum gain was observed in BNB that is +2.5%.

### Overall Investment Portfolio Results  +13% Gains

I started my investment portfolio with $240 and after holding more than 24 hours all my 6 cryptocurrencies have given me profits. If I calculate my overall gains, my current investment portfolio is at $271.28 according to the above results.

**Blockfolio Porfolio Tracker**
As our Professor mentioned about cryptocurrency investment portfolio tracker, so I decided to show you my investment portfolio current status using Blockfolio Portfolio Tracker You can see my portfolio is currently at **$277.47** with **+15.6%** Gains. The difference in results from my screenshot results is due to the fact that these screenshots were taken 9 hours before this portfolio tracker results screenshot is taken.

**Final Words**
* I decided to invest $40 each in Ripple, Litecoin, Steem, Tron, Binance Coin and Holo Cryptocurrencies to make my Investment Portfolio.
* I counted my results after holding my portfolio for more than 24 hours and all my cryptocurrencies went in profits</div>
* Ripple was leading with +28% Gains while binance coin yielded only +2.5% gains.
* Overall, my Investment Portfolio observed a gain of +13% at the time of calculations of my results which is great. 
* Current Portfolio Value is $277.47 as shown by Blockfolio Portfolio Tracker at the time of submitting this post.
