Hey! My name is Laura. I am a 24-year-old Latvian girl who lives life travelling from one adventure to the next. I love to view life as a journey; enjoying the many challenges life throws at me and striving for continuous improvement. I believe life is an exhilarating rollercoaster ride that we end exhausted and fulfilled. For me it is all about the experiences and friends I make along the way rather than the destination.


Travelling + Cycling + Cryptocurrencies = Laura. These are my 3 passions in life. 


I love to travel a lot, but don’t expect to find me at the traditional tourist holes, instead I venture to parts unknown (or relatively unknown) and find out about the world with keen eyes from a completely new perspective.

For me travelling represents the forward momentum that we make to progress in life and it helps me stay focused on my goals and dreams. It also broadens my horizons, allows me to live among different people from different cultures and try the most amazing cuisine.

Travelling is a phenomenal way to remove you from your comfort zone and throw you headfirst into the most wonderful escapades, creating vibrant memories along the way.

I believe the key to a healthy mind is a healthy body, this is where my love for cycling stems from. There is a tremendous sense of freedom, climbing on a bicycle and peddling to who knows where.

 Your only real limitation being the amount of energy you can exert. I have always been an “outdoorsy” kind of girl and cycling satisfies the innate need to be out in the open air, the cool breeze pressing against my skin and a huge grin on my face.

The final key to my heart lies with cryptocurrency. I first got into the crypto world just over 2 years ago, and I am not ashamed to admit I was hooked. I became a sponge for crypto information, absorbing as much as I could about Bitcoin, Blockchains and Altcoins. I left no stone unturned in my quest for greater crypto knowledge, delving into the darkest places the internet has to offer to learn the finer and more intricate details about crypto. 

Crypto opened my eyes to a futuristic world that will become the norm a lot sooner than I think most people expect. With borderless and decentralized blockchains comes a universal freedom for humans to manage and distribute wealth. Extricating from the financial aspect, the limitless opportunities that blockchain technology has across a plethora of industries it is truly an exciting time to be involved in the crypto world. There are great charitable organisations using crypto tokens to develop our understanding of the world further as well as blockchain technology being used in medical advancement fields. 


I also have a liberal attitude that crypto resonates to, perhaps more so than others. For me crypto liberates people, demonstrates that people are capable of self-governance and no longer need to rely on draconian and outdated financial systems used to oppress the majority at the expense of a wealthy few. 

WHAT DO I DO FOR A LIVING?
I am incredibly fortunate, in that I am able to work, live and breathe all 3 of my passions.  I have also created an app that puts crypto knowledge in the palms of everyone’s hands.

My app is called Bitcoin Flip Trading Simulator. Having traded extensively in the crypto world and making my own fortune I collaborated with a graduate friend to create the app to share my crypto knowledge so everyone can get in on the action.


I think we can all agree that much of the financial world is for lack of a better word, taxing. That is why I made Bitcoin Flip Trading Simulator a jovial and light-hearted app, which takes Crypto trading seriously but doesn’t take itself seriously at all. I wanted to create something interactive, accessible and intuitive, allowing my users to pick up all the knowledge without it hurting their brain. In fact, reviewers have even called it addictive.

When I made my app, Bitcoin Flip Trading Simulator, I included only the most popular cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and Monero. On subsequent updates I added STEEM (thanks @
tanbay) and other cryptocurrencies. Now the app has the likes of Stellar, IOTA, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, NEM, NEO, NANO, ZCASH, Tron, Vechain and DogeCoin.
