So I've been trading on KuCoin for a while now and constantly see new coins coming out on a daily basis. There are litterally too many to keep up with so I largely ignored a lot of them.

I began researching Everex during the ICO back in [July 2017](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@cryptomagic/everex-ico),  so was happy to see that arrive on the exchange as I was with others that I've been tracking. Some of the more "under the radar" projects however, were still purely puzzling to me.

Anyway, as I hold KuCoin Shares, I've been accumulating all coins being traded, so I've been slowly working my way though the list of "Unknowns".

One of them that I'm very interested in, I thought I'd share here, as I think it is worth the time to look into.

<h1>Achain</h1>

The long and short of it from what I've learned so far, is that it's basically similar to Ethereum, Neo and Rootstock with hints of Ark around the fringes. It looks to have been well developed, yet I'm still trying to work out why I can't find a desktop or mobile wallet, but that could purely be down to my focus being on the core technology ahead of peripheral products.

It also appears that there was a hard fork at 3am this morning which has credited holders with Abitcoin (ABTC) at a rate of 1:1......(always the bridesmaid!), but that's not going to stop me finding out more.

I encountered a good article on Achain from the Huffington Post [HERE](https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/achain-this-unknown-blockchain-platform-in-china-already_us_5a572a0ae4b0d1a645f96c2a) which has led to my research efforts ramping up to DEFCON 2 (FOMO imminent but not confirmed).

I can't say if Achain is good or pure rubbish, but again, I just wanted to put this on the radar for those that enjoying researching new blockchain tech and hopefully earning their "Pioneer Investor" badge.

Please let me know your thoughts on Achain and if you want to exchange research. I'll be looking into this for the coming weeks to understand it better and hopefully get to the bottom of what it is, what it does and what it is worth.
