This past few weeks have being really  tough for the steem currency even though the bitcoin is on the up and recovering gradually.  I hope the status quo changed pretty soon so as not to destabilize investors confidence in the steem platform

I wonder how dependent Steem's price is on Bitcoin price movement? 

I personally think even if we're going down in the short term, we appear to be finishing a market cycle. So long term, I expect us to break past previous all time highs.

I have no fare, the price will go up again just hold your steem everybody. As the year goes on there are more and more great people out there finding out about the platform and what it has to offer to the crypto community the higher the price will go. Just hodl everyone no need to panic sell

Literally everything dropped. I thought we were past this already but we are not. Every time bitcoin drops big time, everything else will go down with it.

I usually buy more Steem on the dips like this, so I kinda like it when it happens, as long as it goes back up...and so far it has every time. I have the utmost confidence in Steem and I believe it will do very well if we can just break free from this jittery roller coaster period we're in now.

One day steem coin will raise like bitcoin, we are all steem user will hope it's  will very soon because  steem coin  was rising so quickly.

Your support line is too rigid.  I see it as more of a zone down there and as a result, the break that we see here isn't terminal.

With Bitcoin testing major trend line support, this is just a pre-emptive pullback.  I'm not too worried.

Man that sucks. iwas hoping it would have held for atleast one retest not break right through. That's a alot of bearish movement.
