Dear Diary: I Am Thankful For The Lord God That I Do Not Get Headaches Anymore

I think that I was getting headaches ever since I was in grade 4th and it was from the year 1987 onwards. Sometimes my headache will be accompanied by vomiting and little that I knew that it was the tell-tale signs of an impending kidney disease.

My kidney disease was caused by my own immune system attacking my body. But I am not sure that tonsillitis was the cause of it. My mother in those days will just tell me to gargle vinegar with salt if I have a sore throat. Sore throats should never be set aside or ignored as it will cause your body to invade itself. So the result is a kidney disease which will lead to failure if not a heart valve condition.

I remember when my teacher asked the class to monitor their pulses, it was in our math class. One of my classmates counted 90 while mine was 119 and that is in a sitted relaxed position. In that instance I am feeling that something was wrong already.

So with a kidney disease it causes the blood pressure to raise up and sometimes the pressure is high enough that it causes headaches. I thought that having headaches was just ordinary in my case but it was not because it had been the symptom of my condition already before.

But now since I am not anemic the symptoms of anemia like headaches had been gone already and I am never more been thankful because of that, one misery of my life that I had won over, thanks be to God.

It is a good thing that you no longer get headaches, that means less suffering. Thank God. I like the advise you give about ignoring small health issues- people often ignore recurring sore throats or headaches not knowing that their body is signalling serious underlying disease.

That sounds wonderful that your headaches are going away. I also have something very similar. Kidney disease from an inmune disorder. I think the first signs i saw were hicups everyday at lunch. Didn't think much of it then but eventually i started to get very swollen to the point of having baseball sized ankles. Then i knew something was not right. I went to the doctor and they misdiagnosed me with venus stasis. So I went about my business again with compression socks to keep the blood from pooling in my legs. After a couple months I decided I better get a second opinion. After some blood and urine testing I found out it was a kidney disease cause by my immune system.
Well after three years and three different medications Im finally starting to see some improvements. The protien in my blood is much higher and cholesterol much lower as a result I feel less fatigued and over all a lot better. If you need any advice or support. Just let me know. I've been dealing with something similar so maybe of some help to you. God speed buddy.
