Dear Diary: It Is Depressing When Blood Pressure Drops During Dialysis

I really am sad that my blood pressure always drops during my dialysis and it just makes the session in ruin. That is why many patients cannot even walk in my dialysis center, they are full of fluids. What happens is that when blood pressure drops the nurses cuts the fluid suction so when the dialysis stops the patients gets heavier.

It's a cycle and everytime dialysis starts the patients goes in heavy and cannot breathe, the nurse would take out the fluids, the blood pressure drops, then the patient will again leave the center heavier than before. It is what is happening to me because my blood pressure drops considerably and I cannot find ways to avert it. the energy drink seems not to work.

Now I am just full of extra fluids and if this ccle goes on and on I will soon get my lungs filled with water and I will drown slowly. That is what happened to a lot of patients, the ones that rely on the nurse what to do in their dialysis session. So they capitulate earlier than they would have last and be productive units of society. They drowned slowly and miserably.

That is what I am trying to avoid but it seems that my road goes straight into it. I feel that this is my dear fate and a thing in life that is beyond my control. What I just do is to try to cruise control so my path won't be that too much bumpy because it a hell of a road.

Not only after is it misery when you get home and are all swollen, it's also a horrible feeling while getting dialyzed. It somehow makes the session go 10 times slower.  Luckily, I don't suffer from this issue very often but I suffer on my days off by just not drinking.  I try to adhere strictly to my fluid restriction as hard as it is.  I know in the long run (and it's been 18 years) that this is the only way to survive.
