I am almost certain that none of my siblings would have the motivation to renovate our bathroom and since it is a very important necessity especially for me who do not want to use my sister's bathroom because the toilet is too short for my legs because I have the difficulty in sitting, it would be better to make that decision now.

Our bathroom was scheduled for renovation before I went for my first dialysis. But my kidneys had failed that month of December 2001 so the funds for it that was given by my second to the eldest brother got used for my multiple blood transfusions.

After that the bathroom didn't get the attention with priorities given to other things. But it is just high time for me to make a decision about that because of the embarrassment that we get from guests who uses our house.

There is even this instance where I overheard my Aunt and Uncle (siblings of my father) chatting about the condition of our bathroom with my Aunt telling my Uncle that she has a hard time using our toilet, probably because she doesn't want to sit on that old toilet.

Had it not been for the unusability of our toilet during hard rains I would have waited more time to have it fixed. I also have to take in consideration the siphoning of our septic tank because it has been used for many years even before I was born and was never cleaned after that.

And with all that I also have to consider fixing our artesian well, that manual water pump that draws water from the ground. If that would get fixed as well we can save some money paying the water because we share water with my sister and both of us families uses the tap water because the water from the pump smells bad already.

In that way we can use the water from it to wash the clothes and to flush the toilet. I was also thinking of using the water from it in bathing because the artesian well water is cool and refreshing to bathe with but is a a hard water and it might ruin the tiles as it has done before, that is before we switched to tap water source.

I will have to discuss this matter to my parents and I will just cite the things that in my head over this bathroom because touching it already makes a complication about the artesian well and the elevation of he bathroom itself so that it won't flood which will make it the highest place in the house.
