Dear Diary: Thanks To Steemit My Mother Can Go To The Doctor To Fix Her Health Issues Too

My mother has a longstanding hyperacidity issue but it doesn't affect her stomach much but her esophagus as food as she says gets stuck between her throat and stomach making her stop eating sometimes and drink water. But yesterday she went to the doctor again to consult about her hyperacidity issues.

The doctor prohibited her to eat many foods and food preparations including acidic foods and coffee too. I may have to cut on coffee too since it is forbidden now for my mother to drink such beverage just to support her in that matter.

Now my mother was prescribed with antibiotics for her throat because her throat was discovered to have an infection. I told her not to hawk too much her phlegm out because it would hurt her throat. She told me that it is because her phlegm is very thick and she is just wanting to let it out.

She is also prescribed with a spray for her throat to help with its healing so that it won't get into a much further problem but I think she will be okay now especially with the prescribed antibiotics, it is always effective in treating infections. 

As for her acidity problem she is prescribed with omeprazole which will inhibit her stomach to pump too much acid that is making her get a problem with eating with regards to swallowing her food. I hope that it will work for her because I am concerned that the medicine will make her get a side-effect of digesting her food.

It is a good thing that my mother is getting the health care that she needs thanks to steemit and my friends here in this community it is possible and easier now unlike before and it surely makes me happy and I feel secure because of that.
