I Am Always On The Lookout For My Nutritional Needs

Before my dialysis I often could not muster the urge to eat anymore but I have to eat so that I will not get prematurely get so light-headed while I am hooked-up for my dialysis.

So my mother would just prepare me my usual breakfast but I can only eat a litlle which is why I would eat one piece of bread, one piece of hotdogs, and one piece of boiled egg plus some coffee.

I needed the coffee so that it can nudge my bowel movement when I go to the bathroom/toilet so that I will feel much comfortable when I am at my dialysis treatment.

This time around my mother had prepared me this breakfast with one extra item. I forgot what it is called but it has some ham and cheese in it. Nothing special but since I have no appetite I just ate one piece of it.

Sometimes I would refrain to eat hotdogs but will just eat two hard boiled eggs. I would prefer hard boiled eggs because it is a bit tasty for me at this point and it is easy to chew and eat.

Then the bread I will just soak in the coffee so that it will also be soft and easier for me to eat. My teeth are in a terrible condition which is why if I would eat I really prefer soft foods otherwise I will just spit it out.

Sometimes I would think that eating less is okay for me even though I needed to eat more. It is because eating less means that I will put less toxins in my body, things that I do not want to get overdosed of like phosphorus and uric acid.

But I think at this current moment I am winning, I am gaining bone mass, I am not losing calcium from my bones anymore because I am getting an improvement in my pain issues.

My prayer to God is for him to continue to bless my efforts because of this kind of breakthrough in what I want to happen which is to vanish pains from my body and to let me do the former things that I was doing like cooking and even with a simple task like walking around.

Anyway I maybe eating less but it does me good, I do think that as we age now we just have to eat less especially if we see that we are already gaining too much weight because with obesity comes with other health issues. But that is for the moment not my concern because I still have to concentrate about the problem at hand and that is to continue my improvement with my bone and joint issues. May God help me.
