The technology giant IBM has launched Blockchain-powered TrustChain Initiative to help Jewelry companies curb out counterfeit of precious stones and metals and its final product.
Five prominent names in the said industry will participate in this project.
TrustChain initiative is powered by the IBM Blockchain platform and will use the IBM Cloud network.
This technology will enable participants to monitory the whole jewelry supply chain beginning from the precious metal stage up to retail store.
With this initiative consumers are assured that the products they are getting are authentic, documented and has a verifiable origin.

<h1>Bitcoin Futures Markets Increases In Volume</h1>
BTC derivatives products, future contracts, got off a slow start as they were introduced at a time when BTC and other cryptocurrencies’ prices plummeted.
With cryptocurrency market recovering, bitcoin-based futures markets from the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) have seen a significantly increase in product sales for the months of April and May.
CBOE and CME Futures market have both seen the highest daily bitcoin future contact traded 18,000 and 11,000 respectively significantly higher than the daily average 6,600 XBT Bitcoin futures.

It has replaced NEO in the 10th spot.
The cryptocurrency is currently priced at $.0812 during press time and have increased around 9.29% in a day.

The energy sector in Saudi Arabia have taken notice of Blockchain technology and smart contracts and they plan to leverage it to cut cost and increase efficiency.

Hadouken Pty Ltd will setup a 20 MW solar farm in Collie Australia.
This is seen as a positive development as major firms are now paying attention to this new form of money.
The selection of setting up a solar-powered cryptocurrency mining operation in Australia seems to be an obvious choice at it has vast amounts of solar energy although one must keep in mind the massive initial investment involved in the project.
The project was not met positively by the locals of the area but had little sway as the project have been approve by the government.
This is not the first solar farm in the state but certainly the first one of its kind.
