An explanation of what you discuss at the start of the video re: censorship resistance.

Anything that you write into a Steem post is digitally signed with your keys. This proves to anyone that the owner of the keys was the person who wrote it. It is also placed into the Steem blockchain, and timestamped accordingly. This means that it will always and forever be available on the Steem blockchain, and the order/timing of posts can be proven.

That said, it doesn't mean it will always be visible on Steemit.com. Steemit.com is just a *view* (or client) into the Steem system. It can obscure what you see, because the website is in control of the info it sends you. The advantage of Steem is that as long as you have a choice of clients, including one totally local to your own machine, anyone who attempts to censor what you see can be resisted and subverted merely by changing to another client.
