> If, then, you have risen with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set your sights on things above, not on things on earth.
Because you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ, your life, appears, then you too will be manifested with him in glory.
Colossians 3: 1-4

It is evident that we are celestial citizens, and it is not something mystical, "Because we have died, and our life is hidden with Christ in GOD".

There it summarizes almost the entire Purpose of our lives.
We have died to sin and alive in a NEW LIFE, "Christ in us the hope of glory."

I WILL NOT WORRY TO WRITE THESE THINGS, by FAITH we receive the life of Christ.
For whom we have input.
> in whom we have security and access with confidence through faith in him.
Ephesians 3:12

So....
I encourage you to look at the things above.

HOW IS THAT, LOOK TO HEAVEN?

To look at the things above is to look at our treasure, our reward, to learn who we are in Christ. All this we contemplate by faith and Faith is not by praying or fasting too much.
> So faith is by hearing, and hearing, by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

We look up by faith, this faith comes by the word of GOD.
> But God revealed them to us by the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10

The Holy Spirit of GOD reveals us, opens our eyes to contemplate spiritual things.

How is it done?

> reading which you can understand what my knowledge is in the mystery of Christ,
Ephesians 3: 4

We read the word of God with faith, the same faith grows by this word of grace as the Holy Spirit works through that Word. Christ develops and that is where we are looking at the things above.
