Revain is using Ai and manual verification methods to first of all cut off fake and multiple accounts to post reviews from. Also, it limits each user to just 5 reviews, this will protect from spamming!
I personally love the idea of using blockchain to maintain and secure the reviews already posted, so bigger companies won't be able t delete or alter their way into a more promising and positive review than the reality!

and what's better than that? Reviewers get compensated by payment for leaving honest reviews!

YES, yes, I have faced all of the above-mentioned issues in my daily life. Thanks for bringing it into our account as we need this. I am sure they will be providing honest reviews. Not every person give an honest review so we can't trust everyone.

There are several issues mentioned and no doubt these are really a messy thing to have such experience. Most of the reviews on new websites can be fake or auto generated just to market their products. This is a worst marketing tactic. But today I have got a great tool which give us sigh of relief and now you can get genuine stuff:

Wow this could be used for every online company. It’s obviously very different than steemhunt but similar in voting content. It will be very interesting to see how this project plays out. It could be massive or just completely flop lol 😂 great hunt 👍😃

Yes, online reviews have been manipulated (and easily so) since the Internet became popular.

As soon as companies figured out people were leaving reviews on products and services, it became open season on manipulating them. Every website is effected.

But savvy online consumers are aware that many reviews are fake, manipulated, or sponsored. Unfortunately, there aren't enough "savvy" consumers out there. Even those who don't believe the reviews can be swayed by the psychological effects they carry - from scores to positive/negative comments.

So, this project can make a difference, but I'm not sure it will be the the answer to all our prayers. They might increase the percentage of reviews which are honest opinion, but by rewarding people to review, they're still tainting the end result.

If you create a marketplace, where reviewers are rewarded, then unless every reviewer is seen (and rewarded) equally, there's room to skew the data.

For example, if positive reviews are seen as more trustworthy, and rewarded higher (through increased reviewer reputation/reward), then people will be more inclined to leave positive reviews. And the system becomes less reliable.

And no AI can second-guess a reviewers motives for leaving a positive, or negative review - it can only spot patterns, not read the minds of individuals.

Yes to all the questions on yhe hubter's comment. And I really wish there is something to combat all of those issues 100%. However, there is none. I don't think that even this Revain will be able to do that.

Revain has a very good innovative idea to put the reviews in a blockchain and reward the reviewers as that will encourage many people. However like on Steemit, there is still the spammers. While I do not want to cling on that negative side, due diligence is still called for when using anything on the internet.

Reviews are very important for business reputation, they can encourage or discorage a buyer. It's important to have good and real reviews, this way upcoming clients will be more stisfied if they decide to buy.

well deserved hunt at top place. We live in a world where good and bad people are living together. So this is very much possible to get a bad experience. But we should always move forward and leave the bad getting some experience of negative side(This will give you lot of help in future and in your practical life).

Always good to see a new platform based on the blockchain like **Revain**. A lot of benefits to write reviews onto a blockchain (like **Steemhunt**), they can't modified or deleted and users earned  **RVN tokens**, just perfect with IBM Watson-based AI system to verify information.

Does anyone already use the platform? Worth it ?

One thing that i think and useful for me is not about the "rewards". But this review platform can give us the honest review as our reference before we decide to use / invest in any blockchain platform.

I really like it cause it's decentralize means available worldwide and users don't have to just be in US or couple of different countries to use it in addition users just need to give them a feedback about what they are thinking about the project, exchange or wallet and help them figure out is a project is good enough or not and user earn sweet rewards pretty neat and easy. Yes,we are lazy to write for review post.But review is a good habit for all people.Reviews are so bright,more thinking and more knowledges.Review posts are better than the other posts.

Yeah this is something that is what many people get their ideas upon based on the reviews written. While yeah some of the fake reviews does really ruins the way of thinking about sth and with Revain as it seems the accurate reviews could sure be find for the desired thing and yeah it would sure improve the  way of thinking towards a particular thing with genuine thoughts based on the reviews.

This is an awesome innovation and great attempt to fight against false reviews. But will it be truly effective regarding the intention to avoid cheating through information verifying? I especially like that this reviews will be paid, so Revain is two in one! :) Great hunt! :)

I love the idea behind the whole incentivising of reviews but won't that make a large percentage of the reviews to be subjective  or biased? Not all bad reviews have ulterior motives but based purely on objectivity. If reviews become incentivising as you described above, then hardly would people give honest reviews anymore knowing that bad reviews might get them nothing.

Blockchain today is now a powerful technology with best ideas that they implement from it. In this platform, you can share your idea on that platform on what are your insights because there are now many circulating fake reviews from that platform. 

Its good to have a place where the reviews can be trusted and real, so many times I have seen reviews that were clearly paid or done by people who have never even tried the product. Nice hunt!
