We did a little looking around and those options from the other day as house warming gifts for our new place do seem like the best choice. Starting of course with used for anything non fabric in aims of saving as much as possible we begin at the ReStore.

With this move being forced upon us a little comfort for the new environment will be a must. We plan to decorate and have browsed for ideas to fancy up shelving and for hanging pictures I have taken myself but for now we are thinking about the big things.

We are thinking of going darker themed with having all white and a mid tone carpet to work with. Deciding on this dining table for a decent $125 if still available for Sept 1st. This will free up our current table for crafts and the like, something Mel has been long missing!

With six of these desks I don’t have to worry about being available and will most definitely be picking one up. May have to drill a few holes for cords but I will have plenty of room for all 3 computers I intend to have running 💪. My current HP All-In-One I use for daily engagements and video production/upload, Smoke.io Witness & IPFS Node, Steem Witness 🤞 all this is kinda depending on internet available in the building and I am praying for fibre optic!

We want this couch in black leather or something basically like it. Retractable back rests so it’s either a lounger or proper seating sofa with firmer cushions. Has built in USB chargers and storage under each back rest. One seat is reclining and under the others is a foot rest that also pops up to make the whole thing a bed 🤯 $1600 on sale isn’t to bad at all. This will give us great function and comfort for our new much larger living room 👍

We like this idea though not worth it for what it is, we may go see if there is anything at the ReStore like it. Extendable top with storage underneath, designed to be a eating type extension for those Netflix and Chill nights 👌

Of course we have the rock as a centre piece for our coffee table, first decoration and the best kind being completely free 😅

Having heard that Micheals has a sale on we stopped to take advantage of it for a special self housewarming gift! A collection of our photos in one frame, largely the shots I started taking for posts 😎

We now have two of these picture frames and thinking about having one in the bedroom above our bed and one in the living room above the couch or above the tv depends on if we blow up any pictures for a large one or not.

Further ideas to warm the house and also clean up our space from the current cramped disaster moving into a bigger place, aside from the separate storage unit, using tidy bins on our shelving something a little fancy but still go with the darker rustic feel.

As I said with this move being forced upon us we need to be certain we are comfortable in all aspects. Comfortable in body, soul and most importantly mind! If our living space does not improve the comfort we can achieve within our headspace will be hindered and I do not want that to negatively affect our lives when this could potentially be a huge step up in quality of our lives 🙏
