Bitcoin halving: new hope for bull run

Gone are the days when we used to see x10 x100 easily when holding some coins, or BTC movement to 20k$. Nowadays it's extremely difficult to come through. 

The new hope for BTC is drifting from the BAKKT and Facebook news, to the halving news of 2020. Halving simply means reducing block rewards for miners. Let's see how this plays, will it actually moon the price of BTC? What happens after the moon? 

My take is that the price of BTC will rise extremely before the halving , and fall massively afterwards. If people move gains from BTC to altcoins, then we should expect altcoin season.
