Have you ever heard about San Pedro de Atacama? It is the most arid desert on Earth located in northern Chile and one of my favorites places of what I have seen of our beautiful planet. 

In this place you can easily find this kind of organic colorfull scenery, and fauna like llamas or parinas. Also, the magic of this place is that has really clear skies, in fact ESO has put many astronomic projects here, and one of them is ALMA. But if you come here you will realize that you don't even need a telescope to stare at the sky and be dazzled by its beauty.

One other cool thing about this place is that is near to the boundaries with Peru and Bolivia, so people there is very similar and sometimes is impossible to distinguish Peruvian, Chileans and Bolivians. I think the reason of it is that in the past they were all “Aymarás”.
