If I'm a bad guy, I'm moving to a state where the people I rob are not likely to be carrying a gun. Plus, there are a bunch of other good samaritans around who are carrying guns too and they all took special training with the weapon to be able to carry it.

I especially feel very sorry for single mothers and the elderly in those regions. Can you imagine the fear and the helplessness of a woman or elderly against a thug or two who might want to break into their homes and hurt them or their children. I think that would be enough for me to want to move to a different state. I want to have the ability to protect my family with lethal force if necessary.
