GEHAZI: What He Put Off 
Ghazi's heart was suddenly gripped by passion for things. His eyes was saturated with list for things. Strong appetite for things swelled up within him. His reasoning was captivated by lust for things. As a result of these negative experience, he hastily puts off the things he has been carrying for years- the CROSS.
Every successful followers of Christ do carry it daily as admonished by Jeasus Christ, Lk.9\23. As a youth, you must not put off what Gehazi put off I.e.
1) Consecration to the way of righteousness, to walk in it, to work righteousness and to win others to righteousness for life;
2) Renewal of mind, manner and the entire Life in then will of God.
3) Obedience to all written and revealed will of God always
4) Submission to all the will of God, works and dealing of God
5) Simple lifestyle I.e. making the will of God the reason why you do all that you are doing.
When Gehazi puts off all these, he became a prey to the enemy. He could not become what he planned to become. He could not complete the journey he started; He found himself ending up where he did not bargain for. Suddenly, darkness and destruction claimed him.
You need to learn that the CROSS must be put on always so that you can end up in glory with the lord.
