Week sixteen Colonye post: liberate the Crimson forest

we are sitting at 1548 SP steem power.  all players get there post up voted and comments, now even more comments, if u are not doing a quest or few comments. a will visit and up vote random comments true the week. the more you delegation u more a do so.  
am  adding players to  @steembasicincome  am starting whit the big delegate first and so on.  

crypto is a bit down atm a recommending using

@shaheerbari is on a  merchant ships on  the way to darkland. its not safe in the old country cannibals are roaming. he is hearing rumors of a prosperous land over the ocean unaware of the danger ahed he jumps off the shit and start his journey in land. after shom time ses slow moving river its a open space forest and big rock around he ses and elk in the distance but not a lot berry's and food the Forager 

 after helping gunnar @cyber.explorer is hurrying home he is been informed at the undead are on the way he is afraid all his hard work can be over before it started his dream of a better place is slipping true his fingers. at his colony he is surprise when he ses Tim from the outpost is already there. 
Tim is informing him of the report of and undead wizard..the are trying to get ready over the next few hours more help is arrives  @cyber.explorer is starting to feel hope its a small army to help repel  the undeads.

the form all . directions the undeads are waking out from the forest...the are surrounded before the gate is blocket Tim, @paradigm42, @happyme ,@enjar  and @cyber.explorer running out of the fort. making a second defend line so the undeads cant attack the gate Directly a few is slipping true @creativetruth is holding the door. hacking them down if the get to close. outside a fearsome fighting happning the colonists oust side is hacking down undead whit great precision @Blockurator , @hhayweaver  and big jake is raning aroows down from the wall @Blockurator  cross bow is one shooting undeads  @hhayweaver is finding the damage on and ends them.
but it seam hop less the just keep coming.  

@methus is on the wall shooting undeads on the other side whit @ecoinstant and @stever82   the are trying there best the thin out the horde before the are at the gate.  then out of the forest a small lady is Appearing she has a small dog on here side. @ecoinstant WHT IS THIS. Get out of here he is shouting at her. then he ses her she is missing most of her arm only bone remains SHOOT HER.she is turning and staring down .@methus pointing at the wall part of the undead are truning arund and attacking the wall next to him from the forest two undead bears are Appearing..the are attaching the wall to. @ecoinstant is shoting and arrow at her dog and killing it. she screams @ecoinstant regretting his decision. two dark missils are hitting him he is falling over the pain is un unbearable  

@methus is reaches over the wall he tucking the bears he ponting his staff at @ecoinstant  ho is in tremendous pain the bear is falling over @ecoinstant is confused he suddenly get a jolt of energy 
the pain is gone. @stever82 ,  @ecoinstant and @methus is shooting and arrow at the undead wizard hitting her. she is shaking it off aiming her staf one more time then out of the forest to the south west
and stone spear is flying through the air. its going strate true her. she scrams one more time and pulling out the spear. turns arund doing some aggressive signs at @ecoinstant and she is gone.

the undeads are getting slaughtered the last bear is dying from @methus dark heal. 
the colonists has defeated the horde.  @cyber.explorer colony is safe. Tim form the out post is grateful
the oust post was not ready for this and he will tell his commander of wot happen here. and and shipment of  resources will come.

**Regions**

by scouting and region you get one week bonus from it and unlocking it so it can be capture.

capture and region, the colonist get and weekly bonus its a set amount and none regions are the same. if more the one colonist is occupy the same region. the bonus is been share alike. max two colonists can  occupy the same region to get any bonus. 
at any time you can move to a different region but you can only occupy one at the time and get the bonus from it.  

by holding and region you will be subject to attack from the snake clan trying to take back the region. 
the will attack you colony. the harder the region is the harder the attacking and frequency going to be. 
if you are not holding and region you will not be attacked.

**Rules, updates and  Quests**

**When entering a quest in your comment remember to inform me what kind of items you are bringing and the values. make my work so much more easy if a dont need to find all your weapons for you. **

the playable quest day is Wednesdays or Tuesday evening Canada time. so make your turn before it.

 NEW Rule in playable quest: hide. you can move to a location out of sight of the enemy's (forest,darkness, behind house, mountains etc.) and roll a @ rollthedice if you get same value as and Sneak attack 1-3 (or special number depend it on the quest) Then you have a +5 on your next attack.

**Gems: can be used to make a amulet or ring +1 to hit (you can have two  special item). or on a weapon +1 on Damage or on armor +1 armor. you need and blacksmith to do it the outpost can help you there atm. if you are using and armorer u can make a improved armor whit more then +1**

Remember to bring your health potion on the quest the players can max carry 3 potions and you can give it to your self and fellow colonists. 

**shield are buffed** double armor Number and knock back two squares 
wood +2 armor, iron +4 armor.

is deafening cyber.explorer "fyres forest" from and undead horde. his worker is trying there best but all the war make them nervous. the Forager is so scared so he manage just to find a few berry's the lumberjack is doing a ok all considering. and shipment form the outpost is coming if make it to be a good week anyway and the undeads are dead ones more.

After returning home from a nightmare battle with the undead I am pleasantly surprised to see a new worker  ready to get to work. I decide the best course of action would be to build the stone quarry to boost my stone production so I will be able to trade stone for other items.

TRADING OUTPOST:

- I will go hunting for food.

I go off to the outpost to hire 1 worker and buy some Ale. I let them know I’m looking to buy some hide. While there I drink 1 ale and am a rather cheerful mood on my way back to my colony.
Once I return I have the armorer start to build me 1 large wood shield. My other workers sing away as they head back to mining stone and gossip with the new worker.

Hello!  Thanks for the silver - it is much appreciated, I also appreciate the wood wall we had to stand behind!

I would like to develop a market for hide.  I don't need any yet, but I will, and currently @enjar is in need.  There are others with hide (@paradigm42, @methus, and others), but since you have the most hide, I thought I would start by asking you!  Looking at the hunter's cabin compared to the farm, maybe hides would have a bare cost of 2 food?  I am interested in knowing at what price you would trade hides!  I am thinking of similar calculations for ale as I plan to build a brewery soon :)

Thanks for the silver! That was very generous of you. Are you able to add studs to existing armor? I have hide chest, helmet and boots that could use some upgrading. Since you have an iron mine, you unlock the blacksmith and will be able to embed more than 1 gemstone into items. I have a longsword with 1 gem in it now and would like it upgraded with a 2nd gem. I would appreciate being on your list of customers for having my armors  and weapon enhanced.

hi, sorry, I can't really upgrade existing armor with safety regulations being what they are. I suggest trading your old stuff to the outpost first, then buying the new pieces.

As far as upgrading weapons with gems... I have to get more information first, but I think that can be done for 1 silver each (+1), if you supply the gem and item to be enhanced.....   

I can do 1-3 pieces a week right now with the manpower that I have.

Whoa! The light just went on! We just went through an attack on a settlement and NONE of the settlement workers (other than the ones we are allowed to bring to quests) were involved in fighting to protect the settlement. That would mean that we don't really need to outfit our workers with armor and weapons, because they just keep working as usual while we do all the fighting! In that case, I don't really need to supply all my workers with gear, do I?

So how would that work with the soldier class once we build a barracks? Can we still only take ONE extra person on quests with us? Do we build a barracks to make just one soldier?

yes this is correct. but its a good plan to make two good sets whit armor and wepons, make you more flexible to do quests solo etc. the barracks is "upgrading the worker" still one. you can bring whit you on a quest to have a base  5 to hit not the 3 he has now.  and  unlocking more military possibilities like battering ram etc.

the link is allways under the region on the colonye post am uppdating the post when new buldings etc are added. like enjar was sying. a like it when you need to find out how its working. and when you are researching something you always get the info the next week.

what do you want your worker to do? after  bying and worker whit silver you can put him to work the same week. he cant go alone on the quest but he can follow you but on a easy quest its no enemys so better to put him to work in your colony. copping som wood or collecting food a recomending.

The larger man had arms so large, he could probably crush a log in half with a bear hug. As strong as he was, he was also becoming much quicker in his abilities, yet he still lacked the skill of his master instructor.

Some lessons can only be learned through blood and tears, he told me."

Jake grumbled, unhappy with the winded story. For months now, @creativetruth had been making him perform remedial tasks around the colony. OOC: I understand scouting the region is a way to discover different colonies we can settle, which offer different bonuses. This means choosing to resettle in a new location would replace our current colony bonus, right? Are we also attempting to settle the rest of the Darklands before the Snake Clan can occupy it? We can only occupy one colony at a time, as I understand, so I am not sure how this works if the Snake Colony has 15 other lands it is allowed to claim. I think I am confused.

**Regions**

by holding and region your colony gets and additional bonus.
in form of Resources, access to special buildings, Trade ports and up votes, shares in
steembasicincome. etc

The amount and type is different form region to region. determent by the difficulty degree.
you can only hold one region at the time. you will not loos your Colony conditions just add more to it.

the region works you are receives payment from the locals in region you will defend them form the snake clan etc.

In a region it can be max two colonists occupied it the bonus is divided 50/50 if more the two is there no bonus.

-All regions are occupied by the snake clan to take it you get a quest. you can get Allies to help you take it. the colonists ho are staring the quest is going to be the owner.if several colonists starting the same quest (same week) its going to be more colonists occupied the region,

At any time you can move to a different region if the region is occupied by a player you have the option to attack him. by doing this the defending player can leave the region or defend it. it will trigger a quest. working same as a normal quest, you will be on opposed side. both sides can call in Allies.

-By holding a Region you will be attacked by the snake clan on a regular bases the harder the Region you are controlling the harder the attack will be. its activating a quest. you can call in Allies to help you, to attack is going to happen in your home colony. if you dont want to fight you can leave the region. but then loos your bonus.

if you are the only one occupied and region and leaving it, the snake clan will take it back. and
to take it back you need to invade it one more time in a quest.
If you dont have a Region you will never be attacked.

Placing her few possessions on the ground under a small tree @enjoycompany sets off to discover the surrounding area, looking for a good place to built a hut to dwell in. The sun is already starting to set but enough light to see the colour of the soil beneath her fee as she gently kick away the top soil to discover what is underneath. It looks promising for farming nice sandy loam and a little clay. Mmm “the clay will be useful!”
Using her precious silver @enjoycompany hires a lumberjack, she spies a small grove of mature hardwood trees in the distance and strides over to look closer for one or two that would suffice for her building needs.Yes these two will do nicely and she takes a small knife from her pocket and marks the trees with a”C”, so the lumberjack will know which trees to fell.
She walks back to the small tree where her possessions are and looks around her feeling like there is someone watching her... a short distance away she can see a small gully where a shadow is moving slightly from side to side. What could this be? Could this be Gunnar the dwarf that she has heard so much about?
