Yes, the sun after the rain with the clouds. So we are taking a break after the rain. It is interesting to note the new growth where before was just dry ground.
So the rain has really soaked what was dry ground a couple of weeks earlier. That is good. I even got to save about two 55 gallon barrels full of rainwater. I will use that rainwater later on. I always try to save rainwater when I can as where I am we are still on water restriction.
So the world tells us that we spin around the sun. I tried to explain to a nephew that, if one were at the equator and he marked a mark on the ground, then if he would stand on that mark, then jump up into the air, when he lands on the earth again, will he land on his mark or be faraway from his mark?
You see, I wanted to see what he really thought about the earth spinning at a thousand miles an hour at the equator. I explained to him that a thousand miles an hour is more than fourteen hundred feet per second.
So if one that was at the equator would jump from his mark and with the earth spinning at a thousand miles an hour or over fourteen hundred feet per second, will the person land on his mark or be faraway from his mark?
Now, if the world is right in its teaching that the earth spins at a thousand miles an hour at the equator, then when that person that is at the equator will step on his mark and jumps up into the air, as he lands on the ground again he will be faraway from his mark.
Now, if the scriptures are right that the earth is not moved and if it is not moved then it does not spin at all. As it is written, Say among the heathen the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Psalm 96:10. So if the earth is not spinning, the person at the equator that steps on his mark, then jumps in the air, when he lands again, he will land on his mark. You see we can test this.
I don't believe that the earth is a globe, like the world teaches us in school. Some may say that the earth is a globe for in Isaiah, he mentions the circle of the earth. Well, let's look at that scripture.
As it is written, It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Isaiah 40:22.
Now some say that the circle of the earth proves that the earth is a sphere or a globe. Can a circle be flat? Can I not draw a circle on a flat piece of paper? The circle of the earth is flat. Now a ball cannot be flat, yet Isaiah does use the word "ball" in another scripture.
As it is written, He will surely violently turn and toss thee a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory the shame of thy lord's house. Isaiah 22:18.
So Isaiah knew the difference of the words circle and ball.
Also isn't the earth also referred to as a footstool? As it is written, Thus saith the LORD, The heaven my throne, and the earth my footstool: where the house that ye build unto me? and where the place of my rest? Isaiah 66:1.
Is not the top of a footstool flat?
If the earth is like clay to the seal, then is not the earth flat as if you would press the seal to clay would it not flatten the clay and form an outer boarder? I am referring to a scripture explaining the seal to clay, as it is written, It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. Job 38:13.
Ever notice that the world never teaches about the firmament? Yet, it is the firmament that houses the sun, moon and stars. Yet, the world teaches that the stars are suns, but faraway. Now if the stars are housed in the firmament, then the stars are close by. Well, so are the sun and moon.
Then that would mess up the teaching that the sun is 92 million miles away from the earth. What? So that teaching is wrong? Yes, it is wrong. How can we find that out?
Notice that sometimes you see a cloud in front of the sun in your sight? Notice how the beams of light come on the earth in angles? Well, if you look at a beam angling to the right and a beam angling to the left, then figured out the degrees of those two angles, then look for the distance between the two angles as if it reached the two points on earth. Now with that information could you not figure out the distance of the sun to the earth? It would be closer than the world taught us.
We just have to remember that the earth existed before the sun, moon and stars as mentioned in the first chapter of Genesis.
In the picture we see the sun shining and it is housed in the firmament. The world does not teach us of the firmament. The world wants to hide the handywork of God. As it is written, To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1.
Let's end with a scripture, And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45.
