I agree, repealing the 2nd Amendment is not going to happen and advocating for that makes people on the other side less willing to work together for reforms. I think it's more productive to start from common ground than starting from the extreme. For example, people on both sides can agree that if someone has guns, safe and responsible gun ownership is good. Now how do you go about ensuring the most safety and responsibility?
