Gender discrimination is almost eliminated where women are stepping out from home besides men for work in every sector. The country as well as the individual families are getting benefits from it. Besides the benefits, we have some obstacles when both father and mother work outside keeping their kids alone at home. Autism is one of the diseases where lonely children required more attention from their parents.*

### <center>What is Autism?</center>

*Autism is a disease which falls under neuroscience. It is a development disorder where the kids face problem interacting with others. They are not social like a normal child. They tends to stay alone. An autistic child always does the repetitive work with low social interaction.*

*The actual cause of autism yet to be identified. Nevertheless, there are some strong probable reasons which causes autism. It is considered that during pregnancy, few actions by a mother brings an autistic child in the world. If a pregnant mother takes heavy metals like lead and other pesticides, the coming baby could be autistic. You can find more from Wikipedia-*

> Autism is associated with a combination of genetic and environmental factors.[5] Risk factors during pregnancy include certain infections, such as rubella, toxins including valproic acid, alcohol, cocaine, pesticides, lead, and air pollution, fetal growth restriction, and autoimmune diseases.

### <center>How an autistic child can be identified?</center>

*Autistic behaviour of a child is clearly visible with the age between 1-3. Parents and other family members have to have a clear idea of autism to identify an autistic child. Here are few symptoms-*

###### *Late response while calling a child* 
###### *Doing the same work repeatedly* 
###### *Reluctant to play with other kids* 
###### *Speech problem* 
###### *Playing within himself/herself*
###### *Lack of eye contact* 
###### *Look at a same object for a long time*

### <center>Is there any treatment of autism? </center>

*There’s no specific treatment for autism. According to the symptoms the doctors give some advices to follow. The kids who have speech problems, can take speech therapy. Some physical exercise is also recommended for different autistic children.*

### <center>What should we do as working parents</center>

*The autistic child needs more attention compared to other children. If you can identify your child as autistic, you need to take special care of him.  As per neurologist, taking proper care of an autistic child can improve a lot. Don’t allow your kids to do the repetitive work. Keep the child busy with you. Talk as much as possible with the kids. Take the kids in place where there are more kids playing. Involving the kid with others will improve the autism.*

*Watching television for long time is a harm for the autistic children. So, keep your kids away from playing games and watching television for long. You can give them few learning videos like Sisimpur or Blippi to watch. They will be able to learn something besides watching.*

*It is difficult for working parentheses s to give more time to their kids. Depending on maid servants will destroy the life of such autistic children. I know it is difficult to leave jobs in the middle of someone carrier. Money also does matter. So, the decision is yours.*

*Last but not the least, we all want a balance society where all kids will grow in a normal environment. So, keep a close eye on your child and ensure his/her bright future.*
