We all have dreams, top of the list of dreams is always "success". We want to be successful and in most cases we also want to be popular. We want to be referred to as "great" men and women and to leave our impact on the sands of time.

To be successful in life, there's a lot that would have to be done. You would have to build yourself up through training, get educated, pursue your goals diligently and then stay relevant.

Staying relevant is always synonymous with being on top of one's game. Staying relevant means that in your chosen field, you know most of what needs to be known at a given point in time, even to the point that others in the same field have to consult you.

Staying relevant is very important. It has the following benefits
1. Inproved efficiency.
2. Recognition from others whether in the field or outside the field.
3. Improved self-esteem.
4. Increased popularity.
5. Increased interaction with others of like minds.
6. More respect from others.

**Tips**
1. The world is It enabled now, make the most of that.
2. There's tons of information available on the internet, always keep yourself up to date.
3. Always take time to listen to the news at least once a day.
4. Conduct researches, the purpose is always to learn new things.
5. Learn from others if you feel they have more usable knowledge.
6. Learn to experiment with new ideas.
7. Learn the art of public speaking.
8. Attend conferences and seminars.
9. Read new books and journals. There's always new information circulating.
10. Learn to catalogue information so you can re-access them easily.
