If You Don't Like Doing It, Make It A Habit

It's no surprise as an entrepreneur, you can't always be doing the very things you love doing, especially when you're just starting out. When you're just starting out there are a lot of jobs that you just completely hate or let me say dislike doing but must be done. And you don't have the resources at that stage to employ more people to do the jobs you don't like doing. Therefore, it all boils down to you. You have to force yourself to do these things.

It doesn't really matter whether you like it or not. It has to be done, and you have to make yourself do it. And do it in good time. Not doing it, when it's too late. So most entrepreneurs have to develop a trick. A it's called making these really dislikeable activities a habit. You want to make these things that you don't want to do a habit, because that way you get to do it. You should make sure you do it at perhaps the same time, the same way every time.

This trick isn't only used by entrepreneurs, everyone can use them when you have to do something you don't like. Even at home, there are odd activities that you'll rather run away from, but by making them a habit. You get them done more easily. This is how it works, habits are things that you do almost automatically, almost without thinking. Hence, if you make these dislikeable things habits, by forcing yourself to do them for a long time. You'll get used to it.

The way humans are built, we are habitual by nature. So whether or not you like something, if you keep on doing it every day or so many times for a long while. You tend to make a habit of doing it. You do it almost automatically. You do this by making sure you repeat it at the same time if possible, doing it the same way. That way, once the clock hits that time, you know what you must do, and subconsciously, you'll know you've done it before that way. And it worked for you.

Most successful people have routines if you've noticed. That's how you manage to do these things. You can't have these activities lying around, and pressuring your mind. When you know exactly when you're going to do it. At other times, your mind is free of the burden of that thought. Sometimes, you spend a lot more time thinking of the stress it will take to do something, than the actual time it takes in doing that thing. 

This is the difficult part. It would be very difficult at the beginning when you're trying to make this a habit. You have to bear the process, and keep on doing this activity at the same time and the same way every time. After forcing yourself to make this a habit, later it gets easier. You don't need to push yourself as much, as you already know how the thing goes. And you've seen the results, and enjoyed the reward of getting that job done.
