Hari ini saya mencoba makanan khas Bali di International Food Festival. Tidak seenak yang saya bayangkan dan saya tidak merekomendasikan makanan di tenant ini. Tapi saya merekomendasikan nasi khas bali (di tempat lain) sebagai makanan lezat. Indonesia kaya makanan lezat.

Hello, friends.
I would like to share about the International Food Festival. It is held in FX Sudirman, South Jakarta 3rd Floor from December 8th until December 31st, 2018. There are more than 30 food and beverage tenants join in this event. The event is brought by the Eat and Eat. The food sold here are vary.  There are Indonesian Food, Chinese Food, Indian Food, Japanese Food, Arabian Food and many other countries food.
This event is not as the same of other food festival. There is no entrance fee to this festival.

First, I took a look first to all of the food tenants there.

The one that made me curious is the one which was very crowded one. The tenant sold the Balinese Rice. It provided many kind of dishes there, and all made my tummy sang. I had eaten some Balinese dish before on September, but it was in a different restaurant and I thought it was extra delicious. So, I think I should try this dish today.

Then before I could order the food I have to buy the card first, it was not buying the card but only to top up the money inside to be use to buy the food. 
And then we (I went there with My Mum) ordered the food in Balinese Rice Tenant. After queued up almost 30 minutes, we could order our meals.

My Mum ordered, Rice with Lilit Satay (Sate Lilit), Shredded Chicken (Ayam Suwir) and Eggplant Balado (Terong Balado). 
A little explanation Lilit Satay is a Balinese dish made from Chicken and it is wrapped around a skewer. Balado Eggplant is Eggplants stirred with the chilli paste.

Mine was Rice with Lilit Satay (Sate Lilit), Liver and Gizzard Chicken (Ati Ampela Ayam) and also Papaya’s Leaves stirred with salty teri (Daun pepaya masak teri asin).
And our food were also completed with the chilli sauce. There were 2 kinds of chilli sauce: Matah Chilli Sauce (Sambal Matah) and Rawit Chilli Sauce (Sambal Rawit).

Then, we ate our food.
All of the dishes felt too sweet for my taste. Mum said to me the same. And the chilli sauce, they were too spicy. 
And Mum said, “Try the lilit satay (sate lilit). I think it’s the tasty one.”
When I tried mine, it was suck. I mean it a bit stinky and the taste was a bit sour. It was unfresh, so I complained the food seller. She was sorry, and gave the potato chips (kripik kentang) as the complimentary. But after I tried it, it was also unfresh and not crispy anymore.
It was not a good experience one, I won’t ever eat in this tenant anymore.
Conclusion:
Food was not delicious at all, the price which were provided exclude the tax so it was quite expensive for the quality. Better look carefully and ask for the price before you eat here. Try the other tenants, not only to find the most crowded one.
The price that I paid for 2 persons were around 68K IDR.
I will write later about the delicious Balinese food and many Indonesian Delicious Food.
