# I can only describe the colors after sundown:

Red-orange flame, deep caramels, dusky blues creeping in from the Western sky. Umbers rushing to meet azure blackness in a field of mild violet.

Adjusting this photo couldn't really do the scene justice. There were just too many subtleties which weren't captured. This photo brings the scene back into my mind, but I'm afraid if you weren't there or haven't seen a similar scene immediately after sundown you'll never know what it is I see in this image.

## Astronauts struggle with describing the scene of the Earth below them.
It's true, those of us who have never breached the space boundary don't know the grandeur like those who experience it first-hand. The images from space can only give us so much perspective.

Thankfully, with our images taken on Earth; we terrestrialnauts can tap into shared experiences. I hope you can view this bucket of bits and have it bring out in you memories of dusk setting in. The sheer wonder of tapestry of sky which nothing can reproduce. The lasting connection you feel with our small corner of the Universe in it's glory. Emotional connections to the elemental forces bringing beauty not only to your eye but all your senses.

Drink it in. Savor your memories. Then go out and create new ones!
