Hello Steemians,,, 

Happy to say today I will complete Achievement 6 after completing Achievement 5 Task 4.

In this Achievement I am talking about the knowledge I have gained by understanding and studying Curation, Witness & Community. 

**01. Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?** 

Yes, I know the procedure for voting and curation in steemit.
Like the like & unlike buttons on other social media, there are two ways to vote on the steemit.  That is upvote & downvote.  You can see it below in the section below a post we share.

If you like good content posted on Steemit, you can vote.  We call it upvote. A good reward can be obtained from the reward pool by publishing high quality content.  The person voting here is the curator and you can be either author or curator. 

If you do not like the content published in Steemit, do not comply with the rules of Steemit, plagiarism or stolen content, you can get a downvote for that post. 

If you like good content you can vote.  But the reward pool determines the amount of reward distributed according to your Steem Power.  The more steem power you have, the more reward you can get.  Every time you vote you use the least amount of your voting mana.  Initially it was set to 100%, but when you vote 100% it will use 2% of the vote.  You can vote for 10 people at a time and each vote reduces the value of your vote.  But it recharges 20% daily from the network.

We call the rewards distribution process curation.  You can only vote for 7 days for a post we share.  Payout can be made after 7 days.  Once the payout is made, the rewards are distributed at the rate of 50% to the author and 50% to the curator. 

Also, if the steem power is less than 500, only upvote and downvote can be done with 100% voting strength.  If the power is not less than 500, the voting power is between 1% and 100%. 

**02. What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?** 

When a post is published, there is a 100% curation amount in the reward pool at that time.  But as I mentioned above, the payout expires in 7 days.  Within that time we can get upvote & downvote if any.  It distributes to the author and curator as mentioned above.  Therefore, if a post is published and upvoted less than 5 minutes later, a certain percentage of that reward will go to the reward pool.  Then you will lose a percentage of the curation reward.  From the percentage table below you can see how the percentage goes back to the reward pool for a reward in 5 minutes.

5 minutes after publishing a post, the curator will receive 100% of the upvote reward. 

**03. Who will you vote for Steem Witness? and Why?** 

I would like to give my voting to Steemworld.org and Steemyy.com and Steemscan.com websites, as I understand these tools are very useful when working on steemit.  And all the information in the steemit account can be easily found.  You can see it in my review of achievement 5.
So I give my witness @steemchiller & @justyy  I also use steemworld.org & steemyy.com the most. 

**04. Which community will you join in Steemit, and Why?** 

Steemit has many active communities and can join the community according to their skills and preferences.  It is very beneficial to connect with the community to learn as well as share a lot.

The newcomers community and the steemit nursery community are very helpful to new members joining Steemit.  Also, I have learned a lot to go far in this platform by joining that community.  I have shared many posts with many other communities during these 3 months.
