Take out the map on South Norway. Look at it carefully, and you find the cities Trondheim and Oslo. Think about that there is a bike race there, and you start in Trondheim, and you end in Oslo. The distance is 540 km. The bike race is called the Strength Test. You should be strong and motivated to do this race!

I took the race in 2006. While sitting at work in a school on a Friday, I examined on the internet when Trondheim-Oslo should go. And it was that weekend to come when I got into the internet pages of the Strength Test. I took a phone before the race to daddy and to my brother Magnus. They told me that I should never do this race, because I could die. I said to them that I knew what to do, and that we should take the trip in a calm way. I took my car from school and drove back at home. There I found the equipment that was necessary, and I found my racing bike, and a took the equipment and the bike into my car. After that, I drove to Oslo. And that implied that I was in Oslo around 22.00 in the evening. And I had to park my car in Oslo, and taking my equipment and racing bike on the train going from Oslo to Trondheim. During the night, I slept in a sleeping compartment, and the train arrived Trondheim in the Saturday morning. I arrived just around the locations to SINTEF, and I went to the starting area. In that area, I met Inge Lønning, and I talk with him, and he wished me all the good wishes for this trip, and he told it was very long, så I had to be patiently!

In Trondheim, I bought a cycling pants with good padding. And when you are cycling, you should always be careful with the crotch! The place where you notice it most strongly when cycling, is always within the crotch! And the crotch is also very important when meeting any person in life. You should also use vaseline in the crotch. And cycling this distance is really tougher than running all the marathons you can think about at earth. And when doing these distances, you should think great and be focused, and this competitions make you stronger in your body, and you become able to do all the things that are possible, and for doing them better than any other! Not all people starting in Trondheim have completed this bike race, also people working in the media. But you should be motivated, and not think too long from time to time. And breaking up the distance, makes yourself being able and capable of doring this bike race to the end in Oslo.

You should have enough to drink during this race, and you have the bicycle bottles on the bike. In addition, you should take with you energy bars, bananas and chocolate. You must drink and eat enough, and there are also drinking and dining stations along the way. Stop and eat in every station, and smile and take a chat with people. Many people doing the bike race from Trondheim to Oslo are well trained and some have escort car! You must do your cycling in a pool that fits your competition profile, and the competition among many of the cyclists are hard and tough. But you manage it, if you are motivated and strong! Having the strongest brand personality means that you will survive the distance, and perhaps being able to win!

The bike race is going on in June, when where is no Corona! In this year, that is in 2020, the board has been given the message from the government to postpone the race. But if things are normal, the Strength Test, also called for The Great Trial of Strength, is happening in June. And you can hope for nice weather!

A motorist rolled down the car window during the first kilometers of this race. And he asked me how I felt the body was. And I said it was fine! After that, there were several heavy ascents and much climbing, and after taking the bike through all this hills, we came to the Hall of the Mountain King, it was located to the right side of the road! And we took the bike even further through the valley going to Lillehammer! When coming to Lillehammer, it was night, and you had to use headlight and taillight during the night. And there much variations in the landscape and the servicescape from place to place. We passed places like Dombås, Lillehammer and Eidsvoll before coming to Oslo. And my cycling time when coming to the finish line was 23 hours, 38 minutes and 40 seconds. I passed several cyclists during the bike race, and some also passed my. But you should ride as best as you could, and there is not point of doing it badly! In the target area, I met the Direction Music at NHH in Bergen. And none of these members, were able to do the cycling like I did, because they are holding many parties during the year, and they party a lot! There was also free massage in the target area. And after relaxing a bit, and eating and drinking, I went back to my parked car in Oslo, and took the travel with my car back to Kristiansand. I had to stop several places, and I had to sleep since I had gone without sleep through the night. I came to Kristiansand, and I told everybody that I know about taking this bike race. And some thought, I had been crazy! But, I was just lucky to have done this distance successfully! I ached in my body one or two weeks after the bike race, but I had to start my training in running, and this made me with a good feeling in my body! When I had finished the distance, I opened my brain in all possible directions, but during the race you must be focused, and not concerned about every other thing you can imagine! But the thoughts are going fast during the race and after the race, and you are solving world problems in faster ways than otherwise!

Below you see my diploma for the bike race, and also a picture of me! I am happy! I managed it!
