Hello Steemers,

Before this ongoing Covid wave we had some normal life, it was mid of February and our plan finally got successful. We all know planned trips rarely happen. in the beginning, there were almost 10 people in the group and finally, only 5 people joined the trip as usual.

We traveled by train because we want to try this Badulla night mail train. We get on the train at around 8 pm from Colombo fort and it was Friday. Night mail is something we need to try after train passing Peradeniya it starts getting feel the typical upcountry climate and when it reached ohiya it was too much cold and some people used to cover their body with blankets. So after around 5 am we reached Ohiya and we already booked one cab from ohiya station to the hotel. That hotel is a small homestay with some good facilities and the owner is also very friendly.

###### Hotel View

After taking breakfast around 8 am we start our journey to our destination. Actually, this is my first visit to Horton plains and it was a wonderful creature of mother nature, this is the best place to feel some good fresh air. Ohiya to Horton plains road is just another world it feels we were in another country.

We spend almost 5 hours there and it was a round walk around the park and we were able to cover one beautiful waterfall and water streams. Worlds end is one of the very famous places in this park. So we spend almost a day there and heading to the hotel.

The next day morning we had a good breakfast from the hotel and heading back home. again we used to travel by train and were able to reach home around 8 pm.
