##### In meinem letzten Beitrag ging es um Insekten, Penicillin und komische Fragen:

>Manchmal habe ich komische Fragen im Kopf. Da ich weder mit dem allwissenden Herrn Google noch mit der unzuverlässigen Frau Wikipedia befreundet bin, müssen meine eigenen grauen Zellen sich mal anstrengen. "Wer rastet der rostet!" Also tut ihnen das auch mal ganz gut - denn Schule und Ausbildungen liegen Gott sei Dank hinter mir. 😎

### Wie atmen Laubbäume im Winter?

Auch wenn ich den Winter in diesem Jahr nicht gesehen habe, sind die Laubbäume brav ihrem natürlichen Rhythmus gefolgt und haben ihre Blätter abgeschmissen. Nur die Nadelbäume sind noch grün.

Irgendwie habe ich in der Schule gelernt, dass die Pflanzen über ihre Blätter atmen - nennt sich Photosythese. Ohne Blätter läuft da also nichts. Wie macht der Baum das?

- Er atmet einfach eine Zeitlang nicht?
- Er hält Winterschlaf?
- Er hat irgendwie die Energie gespeichert und muss gar nicht atmen im Moment?
- Und welche Rolle spielt die Sonne dabei?
- Absorbiert der Baum eigentlich Licht?
- Vielleicht könnten wir das lernen? 😉 

Das wäre doch ein großer Evolutionsschritt und würde uns unabhängiger machen. Wir würden mehr Sonnenlicht absorbieren und es wäre das Klima gerettet, oder? 😉

Wie cool wäre es, wenn wir nur von (Sonnen)Licht und Liebe leben könnten! Dann müssten alle Menschen liebevoller werden und das menschliche Klima wäre gerettet!
 
#### Mensch werde Baum und rette die Welt!

Dann sind da noch die Nadelbäume. Wie machen die das?

- Wie verläuft denn die Photosynthese bei den Nadelhölzern? Nadeln sind anders als Blätter, machen aber anscheinend das Gleiche.
- Wie sieht dann deren Winterschlaf aus? Ebenso bei allen immergrünen Pflanzen, die ja auch nicht den Wechsel der Jahreszeiten mitmachen?
- Ziehen sie sich auch zurück für eine Pause?

Und überhaupt ist es mit der Atmung ja so eine Sache. Bei den Pflanzen funktioniert sie ja genau andersherun als bei uns. Der Mensch atmet Sauerstoff ein und Kohlendioxid aus. Wir brauchen also den Sauerstoff.

CO² ist aber für Pflanzen und ihr Wachstum verantwortlich.

- Wachsen wir deshalb ab einem bestimmten Punkt nicht mehr? 😎
- Was ist dann am Kohlendioxid so schädlich, dass unser Klima davor gerettet werden muss?
- Ist unser Planet Erde nicht auf Wachstum ausgerichtet?
- Ist die Symbiose Mensch - Pflanze nicht eigentlich genial? Es kann sich die Waage halten!

#### Mensch pflanze mehr Bäume und rette die Welt!

Es gibt bestimmt wissenschaftliche Erklärungen dafür, aber erstmal finde ich die Fragen spannend... Ich freue mich auf eure Antworten - und beachtet bitte, dass es komische Fragen sind, die jeglicher wissenschaftlichen Grundlage entbehren. 😎 Aber fragen kann man ja mal...

### How do deciduous trees breathe in winter?

Even though I haven't seen winter this year, the deciduous trees have well-behaved followed their natural rhythm and shed their leaves. Only the conifers are still green.

Somehow I learned at school that plants breathe through their leaves - this is called photosynthesis. So without leaves, nothing works. How does the tree do that?

- It just doesn't breathe for a while?
- It hibernates?
- It has somehow stored the energy and doesn't need to breathe at all right now?
- And what role does the sun play in this?
- Does the tree actually absorb light?
- Maybe we could learn that? 😉 

That would be a great evolutionary step and would make us more independent. We would absorb more sunlight and it would save the climate, right? 😉

How cool it would be if we could live only on (sun)light and love! Then all people would have to become more loving and the human climate would be quickly saved!
 
#### Man become tree and save the world!

Then there are the conifers. How do they do that?

- How does photosynthesis proceed in coniferous woods? Needles are different from leaves, but apparently do the same thing.
- What does their hibernation look like then? The same with all evergreen plants, which do not change with the seasons?
- Do they also retreat for a break?

And in general it is one of those things with breathing. With the plants it works exactly the other way round than with us. Humans breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. So we need the oxygen.

CO² is responsible for plants and their growth.

- Is that why we stop growing at a certain point? 😎
- So what is so harmful about carbon dioxide that our climate must be saved from it?
- Is our planet Earth not geared to growth?
- Isn't the symbiosis of man and plant actually ingenious? It can keep the balance!

#### Man plant more trees and save the world!

I'm sure there are scientific explanations, but first I find the questions exciting... I'm looking forward to your answers - and please note that they are strange questions without any scientific basis. 😎 But I can ask questions...
