## The justice system could be undermined by technology <b>*through the cyber-staging of evidence*</b>, suggests one cyberpsychology expert. 
<center> </center> Today it is quite common to find cell tower pings and text messages included as evidence in a myriad of cases. But cyberpsychology expert, Dr. Aiken, thinks we should keep in mind that *text messages and cell tower pings can be hacked*. And because of that, Aiken recently warned at a lawyers' conference in Spain, that seeing people convicted over this sort of evidence is concerning.  

Another professional in the field, Michael McDowell, has also suggested that video can be falsified and still photos <b>*can be created*</b>. McDowell suggests that we might not be able to rely on these pieces of evidence like we once might have been able to. 

As far as using cell-phone records to find where someone's phone might have pinged so they can be placed at the scene of an incident, some suggest it's *little more than junk science*. According to the C.E.O of <b>Cherry Biometrics</b>, *Michael Cherry*, he says this sort of data shouldn't be used in any courtroom because it's flawed at every level. 

Some have even taken the time to assess the accuracy of cellphone tower pings, concluding that the data can be wildly imprecise and therefore there cannot be certainty that someone was at the scene of any crime simply because of a ping from a nearby cell-tower. Some phones do have the technology that gives them ability to track your location fairly accurately but that isn't the standard when it comes to the common cell-tower records that get confiscated from various phone companies for the myriad of cases that require them.

# Fake e-mails, fake text messages, and other falsified information has been involved in many different cases. 
<center> </center> Trying to verify the source of where those e-mails or text messages are coming from can be difficult. Because of the ease with which many people have the ability to fake these sorts of communications, legal experts suggest that courts need to be cautious about analyzing and using that data. 

That isn't the only threat that might undermine the 'justice system', as there are also many individuals who have worked directly within that system themselves, who have been caught bringing disgrace to the system and harm to others. 

## Judges have been caught falsifying documents, officers have lied on the stand, and worse. 

<center> </center> Those who are concerned about the issue that *technology* might pose, might also want to consider the threat that those working within the system itself can pose. As well, that the 'justice system' in many ways has been used as a tool to *initiate widespread tyranny on millions over the years*.

The justice system is *centered around the official commands* that various governments routinely establish and we know that there are many laws both past and present, that seek to punish individuals for non-violent actions. Not only that, but they've been established *without the consent of the governed*. Ultimately, they could be construed as a threat of violence because if you don't obey *then you will have violence initiated against you*.

 The system also establishes a sort of *separate realm of morality* by legalizing many actions for state authorities that would otherwise be prohibited for the average person. The "law" is simply <b>a system of rules</b> and itself isn't immune to corruption; *it isn't an almighty beacon that's exempt from undermining itself*.
