UPSI Malaysia No. 1 Education University
#### Dear sahabat steemians sekalians

UPSI (Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris) Malaysia ini merupakan Universitas No. 1 untuk bidang Pendidikan. Sebagaimana rangking ini dimuat di halaman websitenya UPSI sendiri pada gambar di bawah ini:

Mendapatkan posisi list di urutan wahid (pertama) tentu tidak lah mudah untuk sebuah Universitas. Ada banyak syarat uang melekat pada suatu Universitas untuk layak disandang nomor wahid. 

Tidak ubahnya seperti urusan akreditasi institusi di Indonesia misalnya. Di sana ada 9 standar yang harus dipenuhi. Mulai dari standar Visi & Misi, Tata Pamong, Mahasiswa & Lulusan, SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia), Akademik, Penelitian, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Prasarana & Sarana sampai dengan standar 9 tentang Keuangan. Semua standar ini dinilai dan kemudian diberikan nilai yang selanjutnya dikelompokkan dalam kategori A, B, atau C. 

Terbayangkan bagaimana sebuah Universitas dapat dikatakan sebagai Universitas No. 1. Dan UPSI sudah melakukannya. Jika kita pasangan standar akreditasi institusi perguruan tinggi, maka UPSI telah memenuhi 9 standar tersebut dengan baik.

Alhamdulillah, saya pernah berkunjung ke UPSI dalam agenda seminar. Di sana terjawab bahwa UPSI memang memiliki layak menyandang status no. 1 untuk bidang pendidikan, karena UPSI memang kampus yang konsen di bidang pendidikan. 

Pemprov. Aceh sendiri konsen bekerja sama dengan UPSI, ini dibuktikan dengan banyaknya mahasiswa yang mendapatkan beasiswa untuk kuliah di UPSI dari Pemprov Aceh.
