We are going to learn about mold....
我们要学习霉菌....

So, me and kids doing an experiment on the bread. We keep a bread with some moisture inside a container. We left it somewhere near the sun in the kitchen for about a week.
所以,我和孩子们在面包上做实验。我们在容器内保持一些含水分的面包。我们把它留在厨房里的太阳附近一个星期。

This is what we got after a week. The bread is full of mold....!!!!

Mold is a term used to refer to fungi that grow in the form of multicellular thread-like structures called hyphae. Fungi that exist as single cells are called yeasts. Some molds and yeasts cause disease or food spoilage, others play an important role in biodegradation or in the production of various foods, beverages, antibiotics and enzymes.

The bread give the desirable source of nutrients for mold to grow. The warm environment is prefer for the mold to grow.

We’ve all seen it.  Black, blue, or green fuzz growing on the top of the bread you put in your cupboard a few days ago.   That fuzz is mold.

Most molds are harmless, but some are dangerous because some of them contain mycotoxins. It will be very dangerous for those who allergy to the mold and cause respiratory problems.

Fungi of the species Rhizopus stolonifer are one of the most common and fastest growing fungi in the phylum Zygomycota. 
It is black in color like in the photos.
