A lovely bike in Rapperswil - My entry into @wolfje's photography competition

This is my entry for @wolfje photography competition.

This photo was taken on a recent trip to Switzerland, in a small town called Rapperswil.  As we were walking around the 'old town' area, we turned a corner and this view presented itself to us.  As we were walking around on a Swiss national holiday, everywhere was closed and therefore the streets were completely empty other than for my wife and myself; a photographer's dream!

It was almost as though this scene was set up particularly for us, with the bike placed in the perfect spot for this photo.

I did indeed. I love Rapperswil, such a beautiful town.

It's my favourite picture because it was just a nice, natural photo opportunity. I didn't have to look for a subject or composition. We just turned a corner and it was there all ready any waiting for us.  Plus it was taken on a day where, after a few months of feeling a little 'lost' with direction in life, work, etc things started to feel REALLY good, so this photo has a sentimental value.  A moment that just all fell into place as I just turned a corner, perfect. 

Sorry, that got a little deep then. Haha.
