I get it.

I honestly know how annoying it is when you feel tired and sleepy and yet he's keeping you up just because he doesn't care about you. I get how hard it is to keep these thoughts from penetrating your mind. I get how you keep checking your phone, hoping that prolly tonight will be the night he finally says what you've been wanting to hear, when he finally noticed you and gives you the attention you need.


You are tired but yet can't sleep because he's not next to you or texting you and you have this feeling he is sleeping next or texting someone else.

I’m sorry.

I get it if things appears to be too hard on you, I get it that you got used to being fully awake even when you want to sleep from the bottom of your heart but you can't, because you have some uncertainties about tomorrow. 

I get it that your nights are full of darkness even when you keep your lights on.

I just want you to know that you’re not  the only one.

Know that you're not the only one who is losing her sleep over a guy who doesn’t reciprocate your feelings or a guy who made you heartbroken. You’re not the only one who is anxious of what to see tomorrow and how you're going to tackle it all by yourself. Know you're not the only imagining things that would never happen just because you want to have something to hold on to, which is why you keep making wishes after midnight hoping there is a greater being up there who can listen to you. 

All this is happening because you're tired and you've been too patient that sleeping at night becomes something strange to you.


Well, I'm  here to let you know that a day will come when you’ll sleep peacefully and it will happen soon


Very soon, you’ll sleep fully well knowing that you’re not waiting on anyone anymore. Sleep knowing that you're bold enough to face the worries of tomorrow, sleep knowing that not everything is meant to happen your way, knowing that some mysteries will be forever unraveled.

Very soon, you’ll be able to sleep at night knowing you've worked all day and you earned the right to be happy, to fulfill your dreams irrespective of who is at stake, so you can be someone you've always dreamt of becoming, all because you've realized that sleep produces good effects on your body and mind and you'll not allow anyone to take this away from you.

After learning all these, you will accept that your night does not need to revolve around someone or something you can't control.

By then, you will place your head on a pillow and sleep well, since you’ve tried, hoped and given it your best shot, and since there is limit to what a person can endure, you decided to let it go.

I can assure you that soon, you will be able to sleep well because by then, you will start having faith in tomorrow and you’ll want to wake up for it.
