# I haven't had a day at the cafe in awhile and have been using dada.nyc as my stand in for a quick doodle whilst enjoying a cuppa.

As I have said before, the drawing tools on dada.nyc are very primative so great detail or overt artistic line is not really possible, at least not on my little tablet. However, there is a freeing feeling to this as it allows for more expressive form while not focusing too much on fine detail.

This drawing is part of a dada conversation. I find it more fun to reply to an established 'chat' and today was no different.  Here is a portion of the conversation including four other artists 'chat':

# Since today's cafe was in fact home, I still enjoyed a good hot cuppa. 

Today it was a pot of my favourite tea, I mix a few varieties including a cinnamon tea with dried citrus and another with ginger. I thought I'd share the picture of my beverage against the backdrop of my growing seedlings. In the little greenhouse are my melons and cukes and toms and next that are pots of wildflowers and lavender.

# All these seeds were started in February, during the doldrums of Winter; planting always lifts my spirit.

Of course I had my at home cafe companion today, little Monty. I meant to get a picture of him with his growing chicken friend, but she is out with her brooder mates. They are getting big enough to move to their new little house in the veg garden. I am going to wait until first week of April, however, as we have really had some freak storms here this month.

Well, the sun is shinning and I want to get back to working on my latest painting. I hope all of you are enjoying your day and getting a moment to enjoy a hot cup of your favourite beverage and a moment to dream about Spring.
