It was way colder than I expected, I mostly ran to stay warm. No special problems, other than heart rate monitor not working - which also skewed the PTE, which can't be 5, just an easy evening 9k. More info [here](http://www.movescount.com/moves/move184365212).

I went for a run this morning with my friend @demilee-fitness, we are signed up for a local half-marathon in March.
Unfortunately I hurt my calf muscle so it wasn't successful, but a bit of rest and I'll be trying again.

It's important to fix your running form before getting into power or speed. I remember I was injured pretty much every month in the first year. Sometimes, the easiest way is the best: try to lessen tension in the entire body when you run, especially the core, the abdomen.

Thanks it's related to an Achilles injury since I was a kid, every now and then it just blows up.  Old age doesn't help either!
