That is so awesome! Love your posts so much my friend! The first time I ever heard of Medellin was from the HBO show Entourage, it certainly has a bad rep. It's so good that even being a realist as you say, you seek to find the good in things. (I'm a dreamer, so I seek to dream the good into reality haha)

To be honest, I am originally a dreamer as well. However, I worked a lot on becoming a realist. Life feels better this way. (I still dream a lot, though). As for Medellin, it did not make to Top 50 most dangerous cities in the world for the first time in a long long time in 2016. They are doing a lot of great things with the city and at the moment it is a unique place to see that small line between danger and peace. It gets more touristic every year and I feel that in a couple of years, we will only hear the good things about the place. I will probably write a different post about Medellin, as I feel people should know it! :)

You know, I wonder if I hadn't met my husband so young if I also would have attempted to become a realist, or find some balance between. I was fortunate, because he is a Realist with a capital R, so we have the perfect balance and I get to keep dreaming big because he's there to keep me tethered to the earth, haha! That's really great about Medellin :)
