First off, let me say that I love steemit and I think that this platform is wonderful and there is so much potential that has yet to be unlocked. However, I have only 2 main gripes/issues with the site and I feel like if these two things were fixed, the platform could be even better! My main issue is with two factor authentication or 2FA. Basically all major websites on the internet that have user accounts support some sort of 2FA. Not Steemit. Especially since large amounts of Steem currency are stored on accounts, security is more important than ever. I understand a long and random password works pretty well, but 2FA is really the best way to secure an account.

Next, I’ll address onboarding which is something that’s been talked about by many people already. Basically, making users wait a few days to sign up for a Steemit account is a huge turn off for impatient people and that rules out a large population of people. We need the impatient people of the world here on Steemit! I’d believe that if this issue was addressed, the Steem platform would grow at a much faster rate than it currently does.

Anyways, I’m sure the Steemit development team is aware of these things but they are apparently not a priority at the moment. I really hope these things are implemented! Let me know your thoughts below.
