Towards a Greater Utopian. io
Its my delight to welcome you again to my blog today.

I want to write about a feature that will take www.utopian.io and www.steemit.com to a greater  height if considered.

Recently I came across two unique persons, though I met them separately at different locations but meeting them gave me another view of life. The two persons are professionals in their different fields of endeavour. One is a lecturer in a higher institution while the other is a musician whose voice has gone far as far as Christian music is concerned in Nigeria. But one thing they both had in common is blindness. Though they don't like to be called blind, instead they prefer to be referred to as visually impaired.

Have you considered  how the visually impaired are managing to cope with this digital trend? 
The world has gone digital and this unique set of people who by no fault of their lost eye vision either at birth or accident are not considered so much by the developers of these technological tools.

My interaction with these unique persons revealed that they are trying all they could to adapt to the current trend but the environment seems not to consider their plight when putting any new innovation. 

One of them said that its only WhatsApp that he can comfortably manipulate without much help while the other said that among all the social networks he has tried accessing only WhatsApp and few professional websites provided a suitable environment to them.

I therefore, believe that if utopian. io will make provision to accommodate these set of people by embedding a voice into its website, it will go a long way to help the visually impaired persons to contribute towards a better world and also help them showcase their talents. This voice will be running on the background and directing any interested person once he or she visits the website with an option of muting the voice if not needed. To avoid becoming nuisance to others an easy control access should be provided in the website.

Though, am yet to see a website that is running on this explained design but I believe its possible.

My dear there is no big deal about it, simple login to the website using your steemit details. Go through the webpage and write (as contribution) on anything you felt could be added to improve on it.
