Airport Parking Fees Rip Off

Up and out super early this morning to drop my mom off at the airport. It was a nice if fresh morning. But its always nice to see the sun come up for the start of another day.

My mom is 85 but still sprightly for her age. She and her friend decided to have a short break in Spain. I said I'd drop her at the airport as its not too far (30 mins away). I hate airports as they sprawl for miles and once you are in you can't always find your way out.  After parking up and having a look at the parking prices i was shocked to see they were Β£9 per hour which is around $12. 
After seeing my mom to the airport and finding her friend i had to almost run back to get out within the hour. 
No doubt next week when picking her up it will probably be 2 hours to pay for.

Unfortunately it’s not just airports anymore you try visiting a sick person in hospital or parking in most cities it’s getting out of control, but on a brighter note you’re mum is doing well for 85 . Cheers mike

Too true .. Hospitals are definitely a rip off for parking and its not something you can avoid.

Annoying! And, airports are such complex areas it  can totally get frustrating navigating them. The things we do for our sweet mums!! I hope she and her friends have a great time in Spain! My mom is in Spain right now too. She's going to celebrate her 59th birthday there this year. One of her dreams coming true!!
