Excitement has been growing for me recently with the all of the changes. Of course, the drop in rewards came as quite a shock for me and many other people. However, I think after a month when everything is able to stabilize out things will become much better here.

However, I think the part that was the most exciting for me was the beginning of seeing a consensus and a community that is able to work together in order to create a better place. This is great for individuals who are already here on the site. But it is also a great thing for new people coming to write and participate on SteemIt. 

New individuals to SteemIt will come in and see less fighting and a more inviting trending and hot page. I think this will be good for helping people stay around and participate in the community that has been created here!

I also think right now is one of the best times to write in order to gain followers. This will help you grow in the long run once everything is more stable here and the new HF has had time to fully integrate!
