[Nov. 18, 2017 04:11:18 (UTC)](https://steemd.com/tx/a56674d178bf38be475e9ec6b5ff9c926885ac08), @utopian-io officially announced it's version 2.0. In this analysis, let's look at how the bot performed. 

The same with previous analyses, let's first look from which application the contributions came from, then which categories had the most number of contributions, the average number of votes each category received, the Github projects that benefited most from the contributions, and then lastly know the top contributors.

## 1. Scope of Analysis

* Posts were acquired on **Nov. 20, 2017 1027H UTC** using [steemsql](http://www.steemsql.com/) by @arcange. 
* Data extracted was from `2017-11-18 1257H UTC` to `2017-11-20  0010H UTC`.
* There were a total of **269 contributions** made by **160 accounts**.
    * *Only contributions upvoted by the bot were considered. Downvotes and unvotes were excluded.*
* Contributions were spread across **116 repositories**.

Let's start.

## 2. Posts By App

There were only two applications used to post contributions - [steemit.com](https://steemit.com) and [utopian.io](https://utopian.io/). 

**210 contributions  (78%)** were made through utopian.io, and the remaining **59 contributions (22%)** were made through steemit.com.

### 2.1. Were Any Posts Really Submitted Through steemit.com?

Posts marked as contributions from steemit.com most probably were posts initially submitted through utopian.io, then updated in steemit. 

An example case is [this post - "Arduino for beginners"](https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@ted7/arduino-for-beginners) - from @ted7.

Based on [this transaction](https://steemd.com/tx/63492c056b407c47dc4fa6d7c009526af7297ddb), the app was `"app":"utopian/1.0.0"` and then eventually was updated through [this transaction](https://steemd.com/tx/0f060c56159980873df618eb811974f483e0d034) which updated the app to `"app":"steemit/0.1"`.

## 3. Contributions Per Category

All time, ideas category still top other categories with **585 contributions in total.** On the previous analysis, the top 3 categories were **ideas, tutorials, and development.** For this round, it's **ideas, tutorials, and translations.**

Translations moved up again to 3rd, after being overtaken by **development** and **blog** on the previous round.

Let's look at the top contributed projects.

Again, **utopian-io** surpassed **steemit.com** by one (1) contribution. **utopian.io** had **34 contributions** while **steemit.com** (github repository `steemit/condenser`) had **33 contributions**. Followed by **steemit/steem** (the official STEEM and SMT blockchain repository) with **13 contributions**. The **"null"** project here was from **blog** entries.

In congruence with section **3. Contributions Per Category**, **ideas** is the top category, followed by **tutorials.**

The **analysis** tops the pack with an average vote of **78.25**. There were four posts in this category:
