<h3>I can remember one of the most joyful times of my life, back in 2001 when i was travelling with some very special new friends. There were times, almost every day, when each of us just felt so much bliss and joy that we would exclaim:<br>
    <em>"It's Feels just too Good!"  </em><br>    And then whenever one of said that one of us  would respond very quickly and enthusiastically:<br><em>"It's Never too much ... make more room!"</em></h3><p><strong></strong></p><p>How do you do that? How do we clear space within our emotional being so that we can experience feelings of happiness and joy? Well LETTING GO would be a great place to start because holding on to our past, our traumas, our unresolved feelings can take up more space than many of us realise. Not only that but it saps us of vitality and energy like a bad battery, it takes a lot of energy to hold feelings and thoughts in place! Energy normally does like to move, in fact everything in nature like to move, and when we allow our emotions to move freely we can truly let go. Some of us are better at this than others, and I for one am someone who tends to hold on to Certain things forever! That’s not to say i am mentally stuck in the past,  nor do I dwell on the past, but yet it is all still in there, fixed!</p><br><center><img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmNmcxynQaB2bH3kpsxDzjFm8oDmrHoPjhQNU3XqNz9Sre/letting-go-quotes-1.jpg"><br></center>
<p>Well, when it is time to let go of something the universe will be sure to let you know. First with subtle and gentle prods and nods. They may be subtle feelings or fleeting thoughts, or coincidences and comments that people make. Then as we pay no attention to them the messages get louder and clearer, until you may experience a major life event, illness, or just a total road block in life. Letting go not only helps us to clear our emotions, but it also changes the way we feel in our core, and that can change everything! The choices we make, and the luck that we manifest will change when we come from a place of clarity and are in the flow. When we block the flow of our energy, we also block the flow of life. Therefore learning to let go of whatever it is that life has thrown your way can be a very important hurdle to jump in order to move forward with life. </p>
<p>2018 has been the year of letting go for me. I have grieved for my Dog who I had to put down in February, that was SO hard, one of the hardest things ive ever had to do.. and i spent many days and weeks grieving and crying and .. letting go. I also lost my job and just my main source of income in January, which was a bit of a surprise, and really pushed me to let go of needing financial security. I had to learn to trust that things WILL be ok, even if right no i have no idea how that will look.</p>
<p>Then in July the time came for me to let go of my partner and wife of 12 years, which was incredibly hard for us both, and one of the hardest and longest decisions i ever had to make. Letting go of those feelings took months, and are still processing, and there were more feelings surfacing then I knew what to do with at times.. </p><br><center><img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUKTh4NRoifELtyTVD9kggnzaZcNgkTy3U6CpBbMpsvNX/letgo.jpg"></center>
<br><p>And now, today, I am about to leave my home of 12 years in Earthship Karuna for an indefinite period of time. I live here on a visa that renews every year, and for 12 years have had no problems.. But this year, suddenly, I am being forced to leave as the extension didn’t get completed in time due to some bureaucratic nonsense! I’m hope I will get it fixed, but i am not sure, and so for now I am just leaving with no real plan other than at least a few weeks of relaxation! This is really forcing me to now let go of my only roots in the world and to jump totally in to the unknown, even if for a short time. It is exiting, and very nerve racking! </p>
<p>Throughout all of this I have been pushed to let go more and more of so many people and things. By just ALLOWING things that you cannot control happen, and by accepting that I have to let go of certain things, my life has freed up in so many ways. Putting my dog down was so hard, and yet we both suffered every day for years, i had to care for him intensely for a very long time, and he just suffered! Letting go of him was a GREAT relief of a huge burden that could have continued for years longer!</p><br><center><img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmd42zgNTFJRAqdY4HsCeYb6aDW8Uw3RWzzpJvGYuQB91h/let-go-what-hurts.jpg"></center>
<br><p>The question I have now is whether i CAN let go of My Home in India, either by force or choice.. i THINK i know deep down that the time has long come, but it has been too hard to really move on. Now life has pushed me into it, I welcome and accept it, albeit with some angst.. and that will make the whole process go much much more smoothly ( i hope!)</p>
