Being a person with an insatiable appetite for knowledge, I start off with a quote from John F. Kennedy.
# "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country".
My goal ever since I joined steemit, was to be a part of the vision, not to begin by thinking of rewards. I believe steemit goes beyond the money and my recent conversation with @surpassinggoogle taught me something beautiful too. # "steemit is beyond blogging itself."
Only a few have figured this out and those few instead of opting for sole rewards, opted for contributing their quota to the development of steemit.
# Who am I and what do I want?
Ever since I was little, I understood the value of having a vision, and that has been a driving force for me and am grateful fot the experiences that shaped me this way.

Am just 23, I have always had the zeal to accomplish great things and sorry to say I won't ever let anything stop me. The day I made my first post on steemit, I kept it short because I didn't want to falsify anything about me (lying sucks). I joined to make a difference, my aim whenever I do anything is to aim higher and push whatever I am doing forward.
# To me, steemit is the reality in a dream.
The rewards to me are secondary, my primary aim is to help this community grow and bury any competition before there is even any.
Steemit is a garden of flowers in which I do not want to pluck, contrarily, I want to help them grow. I may be little in rank, but the potentials in and of this community is too humbling to let it waste. I will do my best to promote and be an ambassador of steemit here in my country and continent.
I was not the first steemian from my country to join, but I want to be the first that will put his all into developing steemit.
# Why steemit
Because steemit has provided the connection to unite a lot of people from different race, intellectual capacities, etc under a platform of total creative freedom, in a win-win environment. That alone is an amazing feat because so many people can now afford 3 square meals from by simply being creative with absolutely no catch. If I don't want to be a part of that, then what do I want to be a part of?
I want to help others and steemit serves as the perfect platform to do so.
# My plan?
This is very simple, get a lot of people on this wonderful platform. To generate enough traffic for steemit.com such the Alexxa would rank it top 100 in the shortest possible time.

Globally steemit is ranked 10, 985 according to alexa.com and is ranked 3,633 in the United States according to alexa as of 29/05/2017
I believe those numbers and statics could improve so I mapped out a plan to help steemit.
# Steemit In Nigeria (S.I.N.) conference and party
This aims at sensitizing people in Nigeria and across Africa on the need to be a beautiful part of this rapidly growing community. The S.I.N. conference and party has the potential to alleviate the living conditions of a wider population of a lot of people who survive below $10 a day.
This vision will require a lot of support as me and some steeians in my country have started making plans for the event. @destinysaid who is a producer has agreed to supervise the setting up of sound and take care of designs for the ads, @yaradua who is a dj has agreed to take care of music, @ehiboss (myself) will be responsible for the photographers and camera crew present as well as refreshment, @illuminatus  is in charge of security and selecting a suitable venue.
This is just a small list of what we'll be doing as we cannot disclose everything right here. The designs for the events will start coming out as from next week.
The Nigerian market is ripe for tapping and we foresee a steemit Nigerian market.
We need steemians to solidly stand behind us to make this vision a reality for steemit.
