Thank you for this thought provoking information. Now I understand your topic, for when I started reading the information contained started evolving. 
It's true to say, that he who runs on a track with suit and Gucci shoes will surely be the first from the rear, for these occasions need your clothing to be free and shoes light for the sprinting process.

Every profession has its ethos. To fit in, you must comply with those basic rules.

Just it would well be wearing a suit to participate in a track, or skirt and blouse for an Olympic swimming competition, it would also be to wear a jersey and Jean for a military match past.

There are reasons it is called casual.

Yet another thoughtful insights from the sage himself. This is what I learnt from the piece, you need preparation to succeed but not just preparation. You need the right preparation, that's put on the right attire for the right occasion. Imagine Usain Bolt devoting his time to farming, he would never emerge world champion, not because he lacks potential but because of wrong preparation. For there's no correlation between farming and race.

my dick would flop too much if i ran naked. Being naked is nice though, used to always be naked before my friends moved in with me.

I am a huge fan of dressing sense! See, you do the things that makes you comfortable and if you know how to dress well, you are doing yourself a great deal of favor. Although I am sitting in my boxer behind this computer while typing this comment, I would never go outside wearing the same. 
If I am going to meet a new person today, then I will try to dress as subtle as I am because first impression is gonna last forever!

Well said and analysed @ejemai, just you said, even Usain Bolt cannot dare it to come with suit to run for gold in an Olympic event: 1. He will be disallowed.  2. Even if he is to be allowed, he will definitely end up in last position.  

 Therefore, l support nudity for the right reason, especially track and field event.

Thanks for this message sir.  I feel the youth of today especially those in the university are guilty of sometimes going nude for the wrong reasons.. 
It had become a norm which is so terrible.... 
Could it be youthful exuberance? 
Could it be as a result of influences from the western world? 
I just hope we wake up and decide to do better...

In other words give your energy for the right purpose, going nude to run has a reward attached to it at end . It is not for the sole purpose of getting naked for a show off , it is to accomplish a mission. Dressing up for success: getting the necessary requirements to bbe successful instead of aspiring to be successful without any form of preparation or dressing to the occasion.

This is another insightful word from boss @ejemai. If you don't dress up as expected for the occasion, you definitely will feel out of place and be out of place. The race of life is run by principles.

For convinent of running, they are in half naked.

This presents a whole new way to look at this. A  good read. i would recommend.
