Everything is blockchained and though many still find it hard and confusing, the adoption rate is pumping like a junkie on steroids. *** #### 3 Billion Users getting close to understanding it? Libra, Calibra, Facebook and the whole social media space have been a buzz with the story of how a new globalcoin is being incubated. >Facebook banned ads that had to do with cryptocurrency and even deleted many accounts of these players. Today, they are entering the space and the world is already helping her sell the dream. *** **<center>I Feel Blessed!</center>** *** #### Libra is not cheap. It cost $10million to get on as a block producer and will cost a whooping $225,000 to run a node if you cannot afford to pay $10m. Facebook is known to give no ducks about your privacy and have in the last decade profit off your data while you labored in vain. Now, they want to control your finances as well? *** #### Good day for Crypto? Facebook is one of the platforms that allowed for many to access the internet and even understand what it is. Facebook is everywhere and allows our grand parents interact freely like they are techies. I have no issue with innovation if it starts coming but I have to be honest, what is to come has the capacity to change the way we send and receive money. #### The hypocrisy. >Lots of the big names in finance, like Warren Buffet, JPM and many others, including Facebook who had labeled Cryptocurrency and Blockchain as a gamble that is waiting to fail, have gradually stepped into the space and are making so much noise that will make you feel like they invented it. >Justin Sun recently won a dinner date with Warren Buffet where he paid $4.5m. That is not some easy money but one that was got through Crypto proceeds. Will this not make Buffet have a rethink about his wrong judgement about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general? **** #### My PoV. Whoever is coming should come, ***(Winter came and went and we had a most disappointing ending a "[major series](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Thrones)" will ever have- sic).*** I think there is more to come and we should be ready to be wowed. Asmore and more people get to understand what Blockchain is and how it can help the world as the new internet, adoption is a goal. We must be ready to move along with innovation and stop holding ourselves done to what we thought we knew and we will like to remain dominant. Mark is smart and a damn good business man. He is taking the initiative to start out on the new platform as, the old one is not longer vibrant. Dear @ejemai I'm not very familiar with Libra as I do not care that much about Facebook and their products. So there is very little I can say since I have no opinion. > Ask your self this "what will the world look like without Facebook?" For many people that would be absolute disaster ! :) ### I also wanted to make some suggestion. My impression is, that the hardest part of attracting attention on STEEMIT is the fact, that our audience have very little chance to actually find our publications. Lack of solid notification system is an obvious issue. And regardless how hard I would try - there is very little chance I would find out about your new interesting publications (my feed is just flooded with to many posts). Please allow me to share some suggestion with you. If you would ever publish content related to blockchain, crypto, artificial intelligence, psychology etc. `then perhaps you could simply send me memo with link to that post. ` This way not only I would have a chance to read your publication, but I will also `upvote it right away with 20k SP voting power`. I really have no idea what Libra is truly about as I didn't even bother to read the Whitepaper, but there are lots of people who will be lost without Facebook. Also, I agree that a solid notification system should be in play on social media so the users are notified of the articles that matters to them. About your suggestion, I will take you up on that.
