I wrote this arrangement back in June. This was inspired by a recent trip to USA where I got to visit the John F. Kennedy Space Centre. I have always been interested in astronomy since I was 3 years old. I'm currently in the middle of a Physics degree at university so it seems right to compose this. The original song by David Bowie was released during the period of time when there was great interest in space flight, it was written about the launch of a fictional character, Major Tom.
